The rake at .5/1 NL and up is very beatable.

That doesn't mean you need to make more profit than you pay in rake.

My profit is about equal to rake in last 6 months, 55k hands of NL.
But, I've cleared over $1k in bonuses and rakeback probably makes it
close to $2k I've gotten back.

If someone is making profit equal to rake at .5/1 and 1/2 NL they are
doing decent. But, it would be double if there was no rake.

How the f**k did you play 500,000 hands? I four table on Stars, so I play
about 240 hands per hour. If I played 8 hours a day at 240 hands per
hour, it would take 2,083 days, or 5.7 years to play 500,000 hands. And
I'm guessing 8 hours a day everyday for 5.7 years is a stretch, especially
if you are only up $3200.

I take that back, I did the math too fast and divided 500k by 240 instead
of 1960 (8 hours a day). So it would take 260 days of 8 hours per day to
reach 500k hands. I don't believe you played 8 hours a day though if you
are only up $3200 on the year.

$40,000 in rake? 5,000,000 hands? That's $125 per hand assuming those were hands
you won.
