Subject: help - need clarification in texas hold em

suit does not matter on this hand .
table showed 3 4 4 9 9
player a showed 3 and 5
player b showed A K
who wins the pot, player a or b? player b had two pair 4's and 9' with
a high, but player a paired the 3 with his hand
any help would be appreciated, thanks

thank you everyone said i lost because the other player paired their 3
with the board and i used the two pair from the board with my ace
kicker, we had a big arguemtn, i said it was best of 7 but they said
player that used one card from their hand won

Player b, a hand is only 5 cards, not 6 or 7.

Player b. Best 5 card hand from the 7 total. Player a has 54499. Player
b has A4499.
