Subject: do you swallow hard?

We are all familiar with the phenomenon of 'swallowing
hard', when under stress. In poker, that would be when
bluffing, or any bet with a marginal hand. I have noticed
myself doing this - it's hard to control - and I wonder if
my opponents pick up on it. gulp!

Many articles have been written on tells, but I haven't
seen this covered.

Do you look for this tell? Can you control it, yourself?

Sorry about the subject header... my apologies to anyone
who was hoping for porn ...

If you're that scared, poker ain't worth it for you, even
if you win alot of money it ain't worth a heart attack.

The last time my heart rate was up enough that I
swallowed hard someone was trying to kill me.. if you get
that unsettled at the game, don't play, it ain't worth it.

Wear a scarf - you'll look classy and they won't see you swallow hard. Of
course your aces will still get cracked and your good hands will still get
run down. Then the scarf will come in handy if you decide to hang yourself.
