I was planning a trip to Vegas in January and my wife suggested some place warm. I'm all for that. I haven't got a clue where to go. It looks like Costa Rica has the most to offer. Any suggestions?

Neither offer much except when a tournament is in town. San Jose is a big city and not very clean. Your wife probably will not appreciate Costa Rica very much if she is stuck in San Jose. In addtion there are not many games in town. fiesta now only has a game a couple nights a week. The Casino Europa has more regular games but only a table or two. The "White House" has a bigger game but you are still not at the beach. Bahamas only has regular poker at Cable Beach and that is a few tables of small no limit holdem. Of course the beach is right there so not so bad. Vegas in January is lookin good. April we have our WPSlll Cruise and May we have the Bahamas Poker Showdown. Both guarateed warm! even hot!! Thanks for the input. After more research, you're right about Vegas looking good. I may just hit Mississippi and save Vegas for spring.
