Don't have a hand history but this is the exact hand last night.
playing a $1/$2 NL ring game. $200 max buy-in
Have about $90 on the table. 6 handed. Average stack is around $150 or so
I have 8h9h on the button. A very loose player raises to $8 preflop and 5 of the
6 call preflop.
flop is 5,6,7 rainbow..... BINGO. I flop te nut straight and am laughing.. only
thing left is to try and make as much as possible.
First guy bets $25. Next guy raises to $50 and I push, next guy calls and next
guy calls. 2 others fold somewhere in there. Maybe one of them has a set and
one with an over pair.
2 of us all-in so they flip our cards.
One guy has 8's and the other guy has K's... I couldn't of asked for anything
better... I was worried only about a set and the board pairing.
I lose the hand.
Turn is a King and the river is a 7.
Gotta love this game.
I tilt and move up to $2/$4 with $100 on the table. First hand I pick up
rockets and face a raise and a reraise. I push and get two callers.
One guy has Q's and the other guy has A,K. The A,K wins the hand with a
straight
Then I tilt even more and load $500 on a $5/$10 NL table and cash $1400 and
quit... I got a little serenity back.
