I know it's early, but I need to make some summer plans now. What days are being
considered for next year's BARGE?

It is traditionally the first weekend in August. It was later this year because
the WSOP was so late in the year, and many of the attendees play the WSOP. The
WSOP is going to be over before August in 07 though, so that shouldn't be a
problem.

We're working on it, but the exact dates won't be known for a month or
so. We'll publish here ASAP as we are quite aware that folks need to
block vacation time.

As others have posted, BARGE will likely end the first
weekend of August. For those who need a BARGE-like fix
earlier, come to ESCARGOT in Los Angeles, January 11-14 at

Last year BARGE almost didn't get off and if it were not for some
anonymous donors it might not have. It was my first BARGE but from what I
gathered they counted on money from some online site (Peter please correct
me if I'm wrong). I hope it works out for next year because those people
are a blast.
