Hmmm.. you understood him better than I did. I would have phrased the question 'How do I properly create side pots when everyone is all in?' Good explanation by the way. R-

What answer are you looking for because your question doesn't make any sense? Did you really mean single table sit and go tournament play and you are asking if the winner gets all the prize money or if he/she only get's first place money and the rest of the table splits what's left in the prize pool? Thanks!!!! Create a main pot by multiplying the smallest bet x 9( we will use a full table as an example) Say that bet is 300...= 2700 in main pot Next take the next smallest bet and multiply it by 8 say 400...= 3200 and create a secondary pot Next take the third smallest bet and multiply it by 7 say 500...= 3500 and create a third pot and so forth until all "side" pots are created. When you get to the end, someone will very likely have more than all the other players...he gets that overage back Showdown is done in order showing ONLY the hands that can contend for the pot at hand, always start with the hands that had the most equity ( the two largest stacks) and determine the winner of that pot...kill the losing hand and award the pot. Continue then by having the players show hands as their equity in the pot allows, always killing the losing hand(s), until all hands have been shown and all pots awarded. Tip the dealer generously.
