What do you call those players who act like a maniac, except
they make small bets instead of big ones? Ie. maniac level
hand selection, chasing, and raising frequecncy -- but they
will make 1/4 pot bets and so on, instead of pot bets.

Call with marginal/drawing hands, pushing with strong hands....at least that
what I would do....

There is a school of thought that you should try to push with marginal/drawing
hands, as the chances are that he will have nothing most of the time...this
might win you marginally more pots, but it increase the variences a heck of a
lot.

What would be the point of pushing your marginal/drawing hands?  If you are
ahead, you win the pot without having to push him out anyway, and would he call
with a worse hand?

I find that it really is best to let maniacs hang themselves, and risk the odd
occassion of being outplayed when I fold my A high to his K high.
