Subject: WSOP circuit event structure (Tunica)

I'm planning to play in the WSOP circuit event and the Grand in
Tunica next month. I usually play in the $500 event but I called to
see what the structures were for different level buy-ins.

I was told:
$500 buy-in, 30 minute rounds, $2,500 starting chips
$1000 buy-in, 60 minute rounds, $2,000 starting chips
$1500 buy-in, 60 minute rounds, $3,000 starting chips

I thought that last year the $500 event had 60-minute rounds. I think
with 30 minutes rounds the pace may be a little fast so I'll either
step up to the next level or pass on the tourney this year.

Does anyone know how I can get the structure for the other events
(including the $5,000 buy-in)? I would also like to double-check the
info above. It seems strange for the $1,000 buy-in to start with fewer
chips than the $500 buy-in.

I got the info by calling the poker room and they seemed very busy. It
would be easy to read the wrong sheet.

Forgot to ask if anyone has the structure for the $500 event at
GoldStrike on Jan 6th, also I'm looking for the structure on the $200
2nd chance tournies that start at 7pm.

If I recall correctly, last year was $1500 in chips and 50 minute
levels. They aren't having an "opening weekend" $500 event this year so
I'm rellegated to the Gold Strike WPO event instead. Here's a link for
the tournament structure as listed on the wsop website.
