Subject: The weirdest thing???

To the uk.legal people this is a post about a possible poker account error.

I know I had a good night last night, I started with about $20-$30 and won
a bit, I think I got up to $74 at one point lost a few hands and then quit.
I was hoping when I logged back in today(night) that I would still be above
$70
I was unsure because I was very tired and drunk at the time [ best time to
play ;O) ]
I suspected I would be about $69 though, $67 at worst.
Imagine my surprize when I see a balance of $170!!!!!!!!

Now where the F*** did that extra $100 come from?
I am not complaining mind but I am pretty sure I didn't win it, I know I was
drunk and tired (virtually no sleep the night before) but I think would have
remembered
winning $150 in a night, especially as I was in no fit state to play at
all!!!
I though I was lucky to win the $35 or so I though I had won.

So what should I do?

I mean should I play as it is mine?
What if it's some sort of computer error and they want it back?

What if some swine has hacked into my account (and won for me!!!!!!)

Maybe I slept walked, played whilst asleep and won!!

Anyway I can't find any explaination on the account history etc,
there is no 'mystery deposit of $100'.

Should I just cash out?

I fear if I join a table it might reset to the correct amount.

To check my hand history I have to join a table.

What would you do?

I don't want to cash out because I want to play now and I don't like
depositing
money into a poker account to do it. I think I have a few $ left on another
site
so I may us that site, but I prefer the other one.

Acually I did get my game history and there seem to be a fair few wins in
it,
but I don't have pokertracker (have another program which does similar but
it doesnt work on this site) so I can't easilly sum up my wins and losses.
(17,000 lines of text!!)
If I did actually win it I am not sure whether I should feel good or bad
about it!!

Anyway it's down to $157 now, I am obviously not the same player when I
am basically sober and alert!!
Scary!!

Are you hitting on me? Sorry, but I'm on the other team.

Borrowed from dictionary.com
Anagram: a word, phrase, or sentence formed from another by
rearranging its letters

You should also try using the spell check feature.

The 2nd Amendment........America's TRUE Homeland Security.

The error if it was one was in my favour.
By the way gamcare appears to promote gambling it seems to be run by big
gambling companies, a wolf in sheeps clothing?

Ah ha!!!
I found this in my inbox

Dear XXXXXXX, Username XXXXXXXXX,

**** Your Monthly Rakeback Statement ****

You have earned a total of 10171.4 Player Points from 1st November to 30th
November 2006.

Congratulations, as you have earned over 10,000 Player Points this month you
have qualified for our 20% rakeback promotion. You have earned $105 in
rakeback and this has been paid into your account today.

----------------------------------------

It is dated Sat, 2 Dec 2006 10:39:31 on the properties of the message,
although OE
has it dated at 17:00 (aprox), my first post about is dated 10:46. their
figure of $105
seems about right, I guess I must have finished on $65, a bit lower than my
'worst case '
estimateof $67 :O) I guess I must have lost another hand or so more than I
thought.
However there is no mention of the $105 on my account statement (which a
pretty poor
account statement by most peoples standards.). Anyway I guess that explains
it, although
I half convinced myself I actually won that amoount without noticing it
whilst multi-tabling,
because there did seem to be plenty of wins on my hand history, however the
losses are much more
difficult to track and theere were probably a similar ammount of them. I
have a program which
I wrote which would sum up my wins and losses, but it doesn't work on that
particualr
site as it is in a different format.
I was uaware of this rakeback promotion.

Interestingly on the deposit bonus side, I did notice something which said
if you deposited
$50+ between certain dates there was a bonus of up to $100, purely by chance
I may have
qualified for this as I deposited £30 (~$60) between the dates and I am
fairly sure I would have
played enough raked hands, however on reading the small print it seems you
get 20% of the deposit
in my case which wouuld be just $12. Also you have to claim by filling on
the form on the page,
which just happened to be missing!!! However I found the form elsewhere and
I think I just
got it in in time (minutes to spare!) so I may get another $12.

Also note I only made the bonus by a margin of 171 on 10,000 player points,
less than 2%
over so I was very luck considering I was unaware of the scheme!! I would
also like to add
that their software failed towards the end of the qualifying period so I
switched to another site,
I went back later and eventually it worked again, had I not gone back I
would probably have
missed that bonus. I sent then an email about the failure, it is dated 30th
Nov, last day of the
promotion, a rather covienient time for it to fail? Or am I just cynical? I
bet it was working fine
for people not in danger of making the bonus!!!!!!!!!!

I think I will have to modify my hand history accounting software, but thats
a fair bit of work!!
Anyway I lost $100 fairly quickly but managed to win it back again + another
$22 :O)
A bit or a poker roller coaster night!!
