I've only read two chapters, but yes and yes.  Be prepared to do some work.

A little background on the authors, Jerrod Ankenmann got a second place in a
WSOP 2006 event for 150,000.00 and other cashes, Bill Chen got two gold
bracelets and other cashes and final tables in the 2006 WSOP.  They are very
respected in game theory and other mathematics.  David Sklansky once stated that
Bill Chen is the most intelligent poker player that he knew of.

I doubt that for the obvious reason.

Lol, I know what the obvious reason is, but I read him saying just that on
twoplustwo, it must have been about two or three years ago.  I'm not going to go
searching for it right now though.

I am aware of that list, but Sklansky specifically excluded himself &
malmuth. I'd have a hard time believing that Sklansky's ego would allow
him to place someone other than himself or malmuth as #1.

I don't remember that. King of the Off Deuce was a cocky and arrogant
sonofagun. I'd have liked to have seen him tilted. Can you give me some
brief details? And where is that cocky fuck? I haven't seen him on this
group for quite some time now.

I can't remember the exact title, but it was a while back that he posted
accusing Jerrod and co. of cheating based on a blog post, that there were
a team of players playing in the same tourneys on Stars, and discussing
hands. He had a total hissy fit about that. That was the thread where
Lee Jones showed up and said that the one player to a hand rule did not
apply online. The irony is that the King of Douches now runs his own
little team. Last I heard they were approaching billionaire status.

As for RGP, well it's pretty funny. He stopped reading RGP because he
felt he didn't have enough control over how people replied to posts of
his. So he started his own email list. But, whenever a situation comes
up where he feels he doesn't have complete control, he throws a 2 year old
like temper tantrum. I tilted him so bad the immature little fuck
wouldn't even read a single email from me, nor answer any IM's. Even when
he was told by others that I was trying to make amends. He's pretty
useless.

There aren't too many people that I have literally no respect for, but
he's one of them.

Wow. Billionaire status?

I just remember how cocky he was. I do remember once he threw a temper
tantrum about something, and then apologized because he was having a poor
day at the office. Oh, poor widdle baby. Gee, I have poor days at the
office all the time and you don't see it affecting MY personality.

That fucker is on permanent life tilt. He's one screwed up McDonald's
order away from driving his car off a cliff. Until then I will enjoy
every chance I can get at making fun of him. That's what I call a good
day in the office!

It's a good book, I think, but I just ordered it from Amazon.ca for a lot
less than $30.

We think it's worth $30, But as others said, you can probably get it
for less. But in any case, we hope you enjoy the book. I'd liek to
thank everyone for their comments on the book, I'm glad it's
generationg discussion.
