Whatever you make there is put back into your account as $$. Example: You have T$215. Ply in a $20 SNG and win $90. Now you have T$193 and $90 cash. Keep playing SNG's or MTT's and paying with your T$'s and eventually they'll turn into $$'s.

I use cashman brian. You probably have seen his logo. he gives you 205 in cash for the 215 buyin if you have his logo on your avatar, 195 if not. Its a reliable no risk transaction that appears to be sanctioned in some way by pokerstars. I'm not a shill for cashman brian, I do have his logo on my avatar but just so I can get the better exchange deal. In fact, if you in any way try to interfere with the spam message at the end of each satty, Stars will suspend your chat for interfering with the spammer. Nice, eh?

If you unregister, you will receive the buyin amount in T$, which you can use to buy into other tournaments. You can't get the cash directly. You can, however, transfer T$ to another player, which means you can sell them. There are services that do this, but I've never used them, so I don't know how reputable they are. Be careful dealing with people you don't know, as there are scammers who seem to specialize in bogus T$ exchanges. I'm not going to mention the more obvious T$ merchants since they annoy me with their spamming so I don't want to advertise them.
