Have noticed for the last while, that when playing sit-n-go tournaments and I get down to myself and one or two others at the table, I am not able to position myself for the win. What I mean by this is everytime I'm dealt a good hand (AA, AK, KK etc) my opponents fold. If they are BB they will stay in as long as I don't increase the pot, but the minute I increase, they fold. Then, when I'm dealt a poor hand they call, raise and re-raise. If I'm dealt a good hand and they come in, I get a bad beat, an example, I'm dealt KK, I'm BB so they call, I raise, they re-raise, I call all in, they call all in, our cards are shown, I have KK and he had 3 & 5 offsuit, I'm thinking you must be kidding, call all in with crap like that???? The flop comes down 3,5,9 and with it he gets the win?? Now if this happened once maybe twice, thats poker, but I've had this happen several times lately, and in the last month, even more so. Another example, I'm dealt JJ, we both call with no increase and I hit my third J on the flop, I call all in, he calls, he's got a pair of 3's against my 3 Jacks, turn = 3, River = 3, he blows me outta the water with 4 of a kind, not once, but twice during the same game, almost the exact same way, the second time, I'm dealt A10 suited, flop is A,10,4, I raise, he calls all in, I call, He's got a pair of 4's, I'm thinking what the frig is he doing call all in with a pair of 4's when there's an A & 10 on the flop?? Turn = 4, River = 4...... I've noticed that more and more guys are coming in with pure crap and winning? What is going on? There is no way they can know what the flop, turn and river cards are going to be so has someone cracked the computer algorithm thats deals the cards? If anyone has any idea please let me know.

Are you waiting for good hands and still playing tight shorthanded or are you getting into a lot of pots and mixing it up well? Do you only bet with your monsters preflop? What stakes are you playing? Real or fun money? Are you an insta-call when they're calling you with pure crap? I'll often call to break a shortstack if I have a lot of chips and think my cards are live. Mark -- www.myspace.com/diputsur

You seem like a troll. Your cinderblock style of writing is nearly impossible to decipher with a hangover. And you smell funny. My thoughts: !) Your opponents are folding to your big hands because they know what you have. You've either developed a table image that is too tight or there is a tell in your betting pattern. They don't have shit, they fold. 2) Shorthanded play is a high variance endeavor. In the late stages of Sit and Go's, your textbook ring game thinking has little value. Some people are running late for work, some people are happy just to be in the money, some people are freaking out about having to play shorthanded, and most people are going to be playing like idiots. 3) Why are there five 4's in your deck? Which suit is the fifth one? 4) Keep records. -- I hate beer, whiskey, cigars, horseracing, poker and football. And strippers. Which suit is the fifth one? I thought his oppenent held pocket 4s when I read it initially too, but realized he meant 4X and sucked out by hitting perfect perfect. Would love to see the HH on that one. > 4) Keep records. For fun money SNG's? Why bother ;-) Mark -- www.myspace.com/diputsur

John_Brian_K, I don't know what it is about you, but I like you. You seem to be trying to become part of RGP and I sense something good about you. Just don't turn into a fucktard now.
