Subject: Riverstars never lets me down - boring rant

Playin 10/20 NL on stars for the last few hours tonight. Play pretty tight and
solid only getting "outta control" maybe twice. Dropped 3 buy-ins during the
session - all of my losses were to river flushes.
Three times I set these people up perfectly, get them all in on the turn with
there only outs being the suit they need for the flush. All three times it
hits... pretty frustrating to drop 6k like that. The last pot I just lost was a
little over 4k..... three of us in still on the turn and I've got King high
straight but the turn makes a flush possible. I bet the pot, one guy folds and
the other uses his full time bank then calls. I know he's chasin the flush -
and BAM a spade comes down giving him an 8 high flush. S W E E T ! ! !
I understand people chasing cards cuz I do it too from time to time - just not
for that much money. I don't know what's going through their heads at the time
and I imagine them praying intently as they press call that the flush comes.
All three times they had no other outs besides needing the flush.
I like these players just for the fact they are there to donate - but their
short term luck really pisses me off some times. Plus, I can ALWAYS count on
PokerStars for terrible beats at just the right times.
Well anyways i've got just under 50k left now on stars - I was up to 70k but
dropped over the last 3 weeks. I'll be removing the funds shortly as I have had
enough of pokerstars. I'm not a big fan of FTP either so I guess it's back to
some lower level live games for a while.
