Subject: RGP BabyStake SNG Results

Follow and I played together in a babystake 45 person
SNG on stars last night. In the early goings, his name
was typically near the top of the player list, whereas
mine was much further down but moved up slowly as
others were busting out. When the tournament broke
down to 2 tables I had the privilege of sitting to his left.

Being short-stacked for most of the tournament, I was
waiting for cards I could attempt to steal the blinds with
when I was dealt AA. Luckily, another player happened
to have KK that round and I was able to double up through
him to get off the shortstack for about 3 or 4 hands until
the poor guy with the KK was finally eliminated, at which
point I reclaimed the honors.

Follow took a couple of hits to his stack and for a brief
moment his chipstack dipped below mine, but he
recovered immediately and was able to get out of the
danger zone quickly while I was still waiting for a hand
worthy of a blind-steal attempt.

Finally, I found myself in the BB with a fairly strong
Ace (AQ) and four (maybe five, I'm going from memory
as my HH is at home and I'm at work) limpers calling
my blind. I decided this was a good a place as any to
try to get the money already in the pot and pushed!

One person called my raise, and my AQ enjoyed the
lead over his AJ for about 1 second before the board
came JxxxJ and I was eliminated from the tournament
somewhere around 14th place.

I stuck around and watched as Follow proceeded on
to the final table and into the money. He had the skills,
definitely had some skills, but after a couple of tough
beats he lacked the ammunition needed to bring the
tournament down and wound up going out in around
4th place (7 places paid, he did cash in the event.)
GG Follow, very well played. ;-)

Current RGP BS-SNG Scoreboard:
Diputsur : 0
Follow : 1

I enjoyed chatting with you, and look forward to doing
it again soon. I'm supposed to be playing in a home
game tonight, but I'll look for you if I get home at a
reasonable hour ;-)

Not today junior.
Not tomorrow either.
Next week, month, and year are also out of the question.
Check back with me in 2 years, but until then: please stay
off of my threads.

Thank you,
Mark
