Hey folks,

If any of you have questions about the process of starting a poker skin
on a major poker network, I'm in the midst of arranging an interview
with folks who do just that. I'll be asking about timing, prices,
preparation, business plans, staffing, etc.

But if anyone has (serious) specific questions on the topic that they
wanted answered, post them here and I'll attempt to get as many of them
answered as I can. I'm hoping to have the interview up on Wise Hand,
but I don't know when, it depends how quickly I can get the questions
answered.

They should be on WiseHandPoker.com as one of my articles, whenever it
gets done.

Got em. Some of them I was already asking, and I'll try to get around
to some of the rest. :) Ones that are too specific to the particular
network offering skins in question, that don't make good examples of
the skin industry as a whole, I may exclude. But I'll make sure to
include contact information for the poker network who's nice enough to
answer all my questions.

Would be very interested in all that.
Where exactly can we see the answers??

Lotta questions.

What percent of net revenue does the skin pay the network?

Does it change over time?

What exactly is subtracted from gross revenue to calculate net revenue?
marketing costs,payment processing charges etc?

Is there a start up fee to access the network?

Does the skin have access to the player database and its own players data in
particular?
Does the network do any marketing for the skin?

Does the skin have to have its own merchant accounts system for
deposits/payments?

Does the skin handle customer email and telephone support and account
queries etc

Can anybody become a skin or is it restricted? to clients with existing busy
websites for example?

Yeah this should clarify for some people who think it's effortless
money that it ain't for everyone. :)
