Subject: Question about personality at the poker table

When I am playing poker live with some friends or when I am playing online
I like to talk a lot, strike up some conversations, crack some jokes, et
cetera. However, I find that I cannot bring myself to be as outgoing as I
want to be at the table during a winning session. I find that I tend to
clam up because I don't want to sound like I am bragging or boasting.
Does anyone else have this problem and how do I go about solving it?

I'm not sure what you are asking. If you are not boasting about how much
you are winning, why do you see it to be a problem to have a good time? As
long as you are not being obnoxious about it, I personally don't mind
people who are having fun. Makes people looser if you ask me.

I understand your dilemma and I think you should just keep on being yourself. If you are playing with people who know
you they will no you are like that when you are down as well as up.

If you are playing with people you don't know, well who really cares if they think you are bragging?

Watch tapes of Mike Matusow and Phil Hellmuth and emulate them. ;)
