WTF is this. Since yesterday it has taken 10 minutes or more
to request a fucking tournament history. What is wrong with
this bullshit site?

10 Minutes?!  That must have been horrible to wait that long.
I thought I knew what suffering was, you are a true martyr and I will remember
you in my prayers tonight.

If you play about six of them and then
want histories, waiting a fucking hour to get a confirmation dialog box
is absurd.

Obviously you don't have the foggiest clue what the fuck you're responding
to, being a product of incest.

*plonk* stupid fucking dipshit.

Does this mean it took you an hour to open the folder on your hard drive
where you store the hand histories? Why would you have to wait when you
can store them locally?
Maybe too much caffeine?

Those are HAND HISTORIES. Don't answer if you don't understand.
TOURNAMENT HISTORIES are completely different and are sent by
EMAIL and are necessary if you want to keep track of your tournament
results with PokerTracker. You can do this manually, if you have time
to manually enter every single person you play in a SNG when you
play 30 a day.

Don't fucking respond to a post you clearly don't understand, please.

Very bad temper tonight...too much suck-outs at riverstars?

You can archive the HH for hands you were involved with directly onto your hard
disc...At least I've had no problems in doing so.  Or are you thinking of
sending for HHs in hands where you weren't at the table?

You guys obviously don't use Poker Tracker. You know not what you speak.

No. Hand histories are NOT tournament histories.

Ok, My bad.  But cool down....so a tournament history covers all the hands
played at the table or your finishing position plus all other prize
winners...Ok, now I got it...:-)

Though I am not sure why you need it...Stars always send me an email showing how
I've done in a tourney, position I finished at, prize won (if any) etc....but I
guess if you are looking for a record of all hands played, or at least all those
ITM, that's a different matter.

Because it gives you the information where everyone finished, so that you can
look up a player and see how well they have done overall in every tournament
that you are in.  It is helpful to see at a glance whether someone is a big
winner, or a big loser.

At the best of time, it's a nuisance. The client is very, very slow, and when
you give it a batch of them to do, it often takes a couple minutes for each
one. Then it dumps a batch of email to you.

>Though I am not sure why you need it...Stars always send me an email showing how

The "congratulatory email" (that's what Stars calls it) is automatically sent if
you have that option turned on (it's on by default). It's not the tournament
history, though. The history also does not include every hand played. You
are only entitled to your own hands. It just basically duplicates the
information in the tournament lobby at the end of the tournament.

Some sites (like Full Tilt) do not make tournament histories available, for
God knows what reason, and people have had to create software specifically
to scrape the info out of the lobby window and create a history.

For Tilt? http://www.mattahfahtu.com/gfts/

Beats the hell out of manually entering everything, although it doesn't
handle satellites or entry chip SNGs correctly.

Ya - afraid I just don't understand. When you string all those Hand
Histories together - you have a tournament history. Is this not what you
import into Poker Tracker?

NO! You import a TOURNAMENT HISTORY. It is a completely different
thing.

This is a tournament history. You need to request this specially.
PokerTracker will do it automatically, but only if the client actually
RESPONDS to the request within 300 attempts to check for the
dialog box. If it takes over a half hour to request each one, and
you're trying to request about 30, well, do the math. You could
spend the entire goddamn day trying to get them. Without them,
you can't keep track of your wins and losses automatically,
unless you can sit there typing in hundreds of names and
awards.
