You mention christmas time in an earlier post.... Do you realize that Jesus Christ was not born on Dec 25? Do you realize why Christmas was changed to Dec 25? It was changed to Dec 25 for easier conversion of conquered peoples. They used the argument of "look our winter holiday is Dec 25 is not so far off of your winter Holiday" (Yule, in the Northern Hemisphere), which is either Dec 20 or 21 (depends on leap year). Religion has often been used as a way to control people. When religion is studied, one must also study history and political history for that matter to get a better comprehension of the subject. I enjoy theology and theological history, but I personally find it difficult to go along with any religion that is used for political gain, or is altered for political gain. I do not look down on any one that practices any religion. It is legal in the US (I can't speak for many international laws), to practice Satanism (as long as the practice does not violate anyone's rights). One of the reasons people came this country was to run away from religious persecution. I will gladly get into a intellectual conversation with someone on any religion as long as one does not preach their religion or beliefs are better than anyone else's.

Of course Satanism is okay, it's a Christian religion.

If I am wrong, then correct me. I don't believe I am incorrect, but I am by no means perfect, so show me the facts.
