Interestingly, I was listening to an Arab Muslim political commentator
on NPR this morning talking about the book. Even he said Carter was
full of shit (with regard to Carter's weak grasp - or misrepresentation
- of the historical facts.)

One of these days the s..t is really going to hit the fan. The Iranians
are going to have nuclear weapons because we in the West do not have the
will to stop them and I don't think the Israeli's have the means. If the
British or the French of 200 years ago were faced with the same threat
they would know what to do and they would do it but we simply can not and
we will be sorry for it someday.
The next conflict between Hizbullah/Hamas and Israel is going to make the
last one look tame. I think the Israeli's will be geared up for it (they
know it's coming) and are going to get crazy and try to finish the damn
thing once and for all.
