Why would she be out there selling the stuff when she has Benjamin
Braddock doing her dirty work?

I haven't read more than 3 pages of the thing. But I was told that the
person she punched during her panic attack was Jon Eaton. That was highly
amusing to me.

At times it was impossible to keep up with that thread. I loved it
when the replies were coming at a tremendous rate and someone posted a

I second that. The thread reminds me of an episode of LOST. Every
time Brandi replies, it stirs up more shit, and we never get to a
conclusion on the previous statements. Then, if you miss a day, you
have no idea what juicy tidbits you missed, and the conversation is
impossible to follow.

Jesus, I went to lunch and there are more than 100 posts since I left.

They haven't locked the thread, nor will they because of the traffic. They are
being more lenient and tolerant of censorship because of the traffic. I think
they have only deleted 5-10 posts, noone has been banned that I know of, but
it's some pretty crazy stuff there.

Me too! The thread grew too long for me to possibly be able to read
all the threads. Some stuff was so hilarious I got sick from laughing.
Unfortunately, my eyes wore out before I could read everything. I
haven't opened the link today because I don't want to get sucked in
again. I must say, this stuff is better than any soap opera.

I also must say I'm grateful that, even though I've played poker for
many years, I never got sucked into the tournament world, since it's
only become huge in the last few years. The drama of the poker
subculture in the poker rooms is bad enough. These days I avoid most
of that, since I play as few hours as possible and am only there to
take care of business.

This thread should serve as a lesson to both men and women about some
of the pitfalls of getting involved in the poker world, but,
unfortunately, most of them will have to learn the same way we all did:
the hard way.

Good luck to all who enter here. :)

businesswoman, she is.

I heard she's trying to sell a ring. There's a real big shock.

well, thats good. but when i saw your blog, my first thought was
"well, jeez, look at this. she's already hocking her jewelry to keep
her new store going." you gotta admit, considering your admitted
financial situation of late, that thats what it would appear to be.

I can totally agree with that, but was simply trying to be facetious with Peg
since she just didn't come out and say it.

It's OK though, businesses and people go through rough financial times
sometimes, I would rather NOT, but sometimes things happen.

At least I haven't offerered to "huggle". ; )  (besides the one joke yesterday,

Yeah they are, but if reading message boards keep you from working for 2
days at your own business, that is prob. not +EV. I am also surprised
that anyone owning and running a business (not retail) would be so open
about his/her identity and private proclivities. It is certainly
entertaining for the rest of us, but there are very few businesses where
flaunting gambling, drinking, and partying exploits will attract clients.

I am not preaching; I just want to know how to do it.

ive been thinking that about blogs from the beginning. not
specifically tanya, but bloggers in general. many of them put
amazingly personal stuff out there for the public to peruse. i think
there are a couple of rgpers who have scared off potential employers
because of their public ramblings on their blogs.

Chris and Johnny,

You guys are both extremely correct, and it does cause me pause and concern
sometimes. The written word can definitely come back and bite you in the ass.
The blog seemed to have taken a life on it's own, as it was originally only
meant for a few poker friends, then it started getting linked on RGP and the
rest is history.

I am not ashamed of my life though, nor am I ashamed of things I have done.
Others may be ashamed for me, but I live my life for me, and I know people judge
me but the bottom line is that I'm not perfect and I never claimed to be.

My daughter knows and loves me enough to accept me for who I am,
unconditionally.

ANYWAYS....we're totally getting off the subject of this thread, and the OP was
totally a joke, meant in light hearted fun, it's not like I literally stopped
working for two days to read 2 + 2.

Besides, I do the data entry in between new posts. : )

This is what I'm getting at.  There's a difference between not being ashamed by
yourself and your faults (I don't know if that is the right word to use, but it
seems a close enough fit) and going out of your way to advertise them in a
public place where family, friends, friends of family, and potential business
partners can easily access them.  I've posted some drunken stories and have
never been shy about using my real name and being accountable for the things I
have said, but at the time I posted them, I had no children/business
responsibilities to speak of.  Even then, once I stepped back and realized the
potential repercussions, I made a concious decision not to post personal
information that could cause discomfort to myself, family, and friends in the
future.  There's no need for it unless you're that starved for attention that
you want to subject yourself to possible (and probable) negative consequences
for some e-dolatry from faceless screennames on an internet message board.

That sounds judgmental and I realize that, but that isn't my intention.  My
intention really is to get you to step back and realize that there is a
difference between not being ashamed of your life and broadcasting that life
when there's a possiblility it would reflect badly on not just yourself, but
people you care about.  I realize "you live your life for you", but it effects
other people.

Very, very good points and I have realized it, especially as of recently with my
personal relationships. I have made it a point not to try and get that personal
anymore on my blog. I've talked about my new business, I've talked about my dad
visiting, etc, but have deliberately tried to stay away from the more personal
natured posts.

I will admit that it did take one of my family members telling me that what I
say and what I put on my blog does not just affect me, that it's not all about
me, that the family member is also subject to judgment, and ever since then,
I've tried my best to really think about what I post.

I gotta agree with this.  Not just from a business perspective, but you also
have a teenage daughter.  I can only speak for myself personally, but when I was
fifteen, I wouldn't want to be able to read (or have my friends read) about my
mom getting blindingly drunk and driving, or making blowjob jokes, or putting
super personal information in blog posts.  Maybe that's just me, and I'm the
last person to tell you how to live your life obviously, but it's just something
you might want to keep in mind.

Okay, so nobody with any children should ever, ever do that. Or is it just
women who have to observe some Taliban level code of propriety?

I's just the women who want to be considered for the Supreme Court 20
years down the road. Running for president should be OK though.

There's been talk of it being a scam and if it is, I'd have to say that no one
would EVER be able to pull something off bigger then this. It's HUGE.

It's no scam, there are people this stupid a-plenty.  She could be telling lies,
and so can many others, but they're being very serious.  People around their
teens and early 20s these days are really fucked up.

The whole damn thread is funny, but I think one of the most ironic
points is the thread is titled "Don't Trust Anyone", and originally she
starts talking about her experience with the POB (penis on back).
Then, when it comes out that she blew $30K on someone else's account,
changed their password, and turned into a crazy bitch, she wants
everyone to trust her that her account of events is true. Despite all
the accounts that she's a crazy.

I remember it was $30,000. I wonder if she lost it to a "friend" on
PS? That young man "newhizzle" sounds really naive. I wonder how long
his BR will last, if he still has anything left? It sounds like the
vultures have already been picking at him. It seems to me that the
world of tournament poker is even sicker than I even thought.

Yeah, she lost about 30K from his PS account, but then he's lost about 200K from
a combination of her and other "friends" after he won that WPT event. He states
he has about 500K left, and hasn't even paid taxes yet, or that's what he'll
have left after taxes, wasn't too clear on that.

Other 4'rs did some investigating on his behalf and it does NOT look like chip
dumping at all, just looks like a really, REALLY bad player. HH were posted. It
was UGLY.

Basically, Brandi calls Newhizzle a disgusting guy who doesn't bathe, but she
gave him a hand job anyways because she felt sorry for him. He states they
actually had  sex.

She states that she is no longer going to pay him back for the money she lost on
his account, because he backstabbed her by writing what he did yesterday.

But then someone said something about someone else taking the debt from/for her
(that was on neverwinpoker.com) and taking care of it with Newhizzle, or
something like that.

She states that she never wrote anything in blood on the wall.

She states that she did cut herself and has only done it one other time in her
life. She states that she is a cutter, an exhibitionist, and something
called....oh shit, I forgot the name for it but it had a link and looked scary
so I didn't click on it.

Ummmm, that's all I can think of right now and I can't get on the website, their
servers must be bogged down like crazy, I can't get on!!!

How come I never met girls like her when I was in my 20's ? My career
advice for Brandi would be to open her own porn website. Do it while the
iron, or whatever, is hot.
