My wife works for a company that has a similar policy. it stems fromt he head of HR being alergic to perfume. My wife did not know this and when she went for her interview with her she wore perfume. Needless to say it had to be rescheduled. All is fine now. Some other fun rules are: Popcorn was deemed an offensive oder my one company but fish and curry were allowed. A peanut free zone inside a cafateria that was serving Kung-Pow Chicken. During the SARS break out the cafeateria and all common rooms were closed including conference rooms but the "No food at your desk" policy was no lifted and was enforced. _______________________________________________________________ * New Release: RecPoker.com v2.2 - http://www.recpoker.com

Speaking of fragrances...I had a chance recently to interview for a job where the office went out of its way to promote itself as 'deodorant and fragrance-free'. I can only imagine the stench that must build up in the meeting rooms. The position was with a disability rights advocacy group - not sure if that had something to do with their proclamation. > some people claim to be allergic to deoderants and colognes,i think one > province in canada prohibited the wearing of deoderant in the public > schools, don't know if it was quebec or not. > > i guess next time she should just let silent squeezers out and ask who > died. _______________________________________________________________ Your Online Poker Community - http://www.recpoker.com
