Situation: 29 left in a Full Tilt satty, 28 paid.

Fade is an observer who just jammed with KK when he could have folded to a
seat and was berating the monster stack for calling with T2s and sucking
out. Normally I don't say anything after someone busts out, but this guy
was something else.

Amusing addendum to this story:

See this guy?

Know how on Full Tilt, they make you play out the tournament until the
conclusion?

Well, he ended up winning all 132,000 chips in play and winning the
tournament.

What is wrong with watching the other table? I do it all the time at the
endgame. This guy was complaining that people were still stalling.

not talking about watching or not watching other table.
i was playing a super satellite to the $350k on ftp and everyone on a
certain table folded to the bb. every single hand for the hour that i was
watching, and someone said they had an agreement pretty much since the
whole thing started.
and i haven't got a response from support yet, so i was wondering if that
was a frequent occurence.

Not that I have seen, and it could certainly be considered collusion.

Could or would?
Is this not akin to the "check it down" scenario, where implicit cooperation
is fine, but discussing it in advance isn't?

Could be, and probably would be, because it would have to have been
disucssed in chat.

I'd never do this, because in addition to being cheating, there are a number
of other reasons it sucks. One is that all it takes is one defector to break it
all off. Then you're left with a short stack in a tournament and very little
chance of survival.

Another is that you may end up being transferred to another table. If that
occurs, then you are similarly going to be a short stack at a table of
big stacks, and stand very little chance of survival.

While this might work in a perfect world every rare once in a while, I think
in most chances you're going to have a greater chance of winning if you
play your usual game and try to acquire a stack than if you attempt
dodgy collusion with untrustworthy people. (People who would do this
are untrustworthy by definition because they're cheaters.)
