WHEW. I just finished reading the Brewmaster thread of "life in the
Universe".

I finally found out why the phasers on Star Trek just don't keep going on
forever when they miss something and that beings from other worlds
actually might have emotions like we do. Ya ever wonder what an alien
would do if his Full house got burned down by some one hitting a three
outer to quads? I wonder what the Online Gaming Bill does to those who
play on other worlds? Can they still use Neteller? I wonder if Party Poker
would ban them from their site if they landed in the USA first. I wonder
how fast their Internet connection is. I bet they can multi table with the
best of them. Probably have killer laptops too. If they do have emotions,
I bet they hate Will Smith for kicking that alien in the head after the
alien killed Harry Connick Jr.

Just some random thoughts. It was an interesting thread tho. Seriously.

So you're an idiot, a coward, a liar AND a hypocrite. That's quite a
resume you're building.

I had a number of amusing observations in this regard (including one
relating Coleman's familiarity with redshift to the sight of friends,
acquaintances and meth hookers racing away from him at high speeds),
but I don't want to burden RGP with the inevitable pissing match they
will spawn.

I wouldn't see it anyway, I have the three morons killfiled.

I guess I should know better than to spar with 9 year-olds.

It doesn't do anything to people in 99.5% of the countries on
this planet, so I doubt it would affect other worlds.

It was interesting until several know-it-all assholes took over, at which
point I gave up, killfiled said assholes, and even killed my own thread,
lol. I don't mind having an interesting discussion, and I don't mind
being told that I'm wrong (and I don't even mind being wrong) but several
people here feel that it is better to tell people they are stupid, idiots,
morons, etc. I don't have time or patience to discuss anything with
assholes, especially stupid ones. I wasn't wrong in this instance,
however. I'm sure I read quite a bit more than the three stooges do.

as we all know, or should know by now, you could post a topic like:

"I like to play poker"

and someone in the blink of an eye can turn it around into a poker is a
violent acquisition game which is in fact a crypto-fascist metaphor for
nuclear war thread.

now that i think about it.......
