Subject: How many times can I be riverstarred?

Seriously, I suck donks in on the flop and turn and then they come back from the dead and river me. I know I'm golden all the way up until the river too, that's the worst part. I build this big beautiful pot and I'm all set up to make a brillant value bet when *WHAM*, all of a sudden I got some clown repopping or shoving on me. I anaylze the hand and come to the conclusion there is no way they have me beat unless they rivered a set or 2 pair on me. But that seems so unlikely and there is already so much money in the pot. Then I wind up calling and they show me some retarded hand that was crushed all the way until 5th street. Is there anyway to not go broke when a manaic insists on playing a big pot with top pair no kicker or when a donk refuses to lay down his flush draw?? Put this maniac on J10. When she made her weak bet on the turn I knew I was solid as a rock and A10 was the goods. I decided to get some more value from this calling station by milking on the turn. Queen fucking ten. Gimme a break please. Just one time I want a break. Did I play this hand poorly? No, I didn't. The donkey made a weak play at the flop, then pushed when the board paired with three to the flush already out. Of course he "knew" the guy didn't have two diamonds, 7x, 22, 33, 77, 99, TT, JJ, QQ, KK, AA... By my reckoning when the chips went in there was ~5000 in the pot ~3000 to call.. the caller had a 30% chance of hitting his outs. OK not pot odds, but given the opportunity to shove it in this arrogant tossers face - who wouldn't applaud the man for gambling and outdrawing him.. har har :-) -- S i g n a l @ l i n e o n e . n e t

Not just bad beats, they are rigged. It is proven that RiverStars brings the cheating rigged bullshit "bad" beats far far more than probability could account for. Does this mean they are cheating? Maybe some people don't think it is cheating to manipulate the deal in this way but even they realize that Stars IS manipulating the deal. I guess it is only fair to help the fish a little bit at the expense of the sharks. After all, why should the sharks take all the money? That would mean less rake for Stars and the bottom line is, what is good for their bottom line is what they do, and what they do for their bottom line is cheat the good players and help the bad players. It is a well-established fact they are doing this. Even people who used to be hardcore site shills have come to their senses, most of them. Basically, it's like atheism vs religion. The Jesus freaks insist that the sites are not rigged. The far more rational atheists realize that the site is cheating. The only way you could stay in denial about the cheating is through blind, unquestioning faith. Any degree of rationality leads to the inescapable conclusion that they ARE cheating.

You say: "It is proven that RiverStars brings the cheating rigged bullshit "bad" beats far far more than probability could account for." and "It is a well-established fact they are doing this." Links to this evidence, please? I'd love to see it. Since you know it to be a "well-established fact", you should have no trouble drumming up links to a number of reputable sources with this information readily available. I bet 700 into a 950 pot. That's weak? Was he folding if I bet 250 more? Come on, gimme a break. My bet was brilliant. It was big enough to make it bad to chase his flush, but it was also small enough that I could fold if the 4th diamond hit.

Some people can't fold a flush draw. That doesn't necessarily mean you are the one making mistakes. (although it can be argued that in the first hand the two of you were having some super donk contest). If you get your money in as a big favorite and they make donk calls, you should be happy. Seriously, you are never OWED a pot. It isn't your's until the river. This happens all the time. Without the guy being able to win *sometimes* he will never place money in the pot. He will win pots that you never will, because you will fold. At the end of the day you will be ahead. Poker is alot closer than you think. 80/20 means you lose 1 out of 5 times. Here's the gagger 2 people who are 80/20 against you doesn't mean you have an 80% chance to win. Those that take it in stride, who focus and play the best that they can, are the winners.
