Just have to tell the story to get it off my mind. If we were playing for
something more than a micro buy-in tourney, I might be upset about it. The
player who won the pot was a real space cadet telling me how poorly I played all
tournament dispite the fact that I was in the top ten the whole time and the top
three until this hand and the one prior. (I was quartered while holding the
nut-low and the second nut flush... yeah... cooler!)
Count his outs and tell me he didn't hit perfect twice to take it all down.
There are only two 4s I don't want to see on the river.

Yes, folding would not have been unwise preflop.

So the T8xx was more than a 5:1 dog to make it; the OP had
10 outs twice to make a flush or boat.
In fact, if you disregard Fat Shaft who was basically all-in
on the flop, then OP's equity jumps to over 70% .
As an aside, can you spot all 7 boards that scoop for Fat Shaft?

You called a pot-sized raise, out of position with a mediocre hand even
after 2 guys with more chips than you called the same raise. They were
going to the river with any knid of draw and again, your hand was NOT a
powerhouse.
There was $8250 in the pot pre-flop plus your bet of $2651 on the flop
gives the guy with the open-ended str8 draw about 4.3:1 pot odds and he
is only a 2.3:1 underdog to make his hand. I dont think it was a bad
beat at all.
