Won a trip from a local radio station and tomorrow is the day. Can't
wait.

I'm strictly low stakes...So does anyone have a suggestion for the
softest 2/4 LHE rooms? Also is there a good $60 or under tourney that
anyone can suggest? I'm going to be there Friday to Monday.

Thanks

Softest is without a doubt Excalibur.

I've also found schools of fish at both Bally's and Paris, but their
poker rooms are really just roped off areas.

Let's see, I've played low stakes at the Venetian, Mirage, and Caesar's
and the people have always been the same. Nearly every pot is multi-way
action (average 4-6 people per pot) and the games there play more like
poker slot machines: they dump lots of money in and hope that their hand
hits. Most are flop addicted and will make the decision to abandon their
hand after the flop rather than pre-flop. It's even more loose during the
day than the evening.

I hope you run well, but be prepared to stomach some nasty beats. Whereas,
if there's a raise UTG and you reraise with AA, the person to your left
will gladly call your 3 bets with a variety of holdings and so will the
BB. When the board flops 4-5-K rainbow, don't think for a second that
someone isn't holding K5o.

If you play $1/$2 NL, the standard raise is not $8. It's $20+ if you want
1-2 opponents.

Good luck and let us know how you did.

For low limit limit holdem cash games, check out the Station casinos. For small
buy-in tourneys go to the Orleans.
