Subject: Funding with prepaid debit cards

I asked this question recently, but never got a real answer.  Has anyone tried
funding (either directly to a site or to Neteller) using one of those prepaid
Visa/MC cards?  BoA still declines all my funding attempts, and I don't want to
bother with a new bank account if I can help it.

Personally I have not, but I have had several other players tell me
that they go to one of the larger retailers in the country, purchase a
prepaid debit card for whatever dollars suit your fancy and use that
card. I am told that you can also withdraw to that same card.

BUT, this is what I have been told, I have never funded an account this
way myself.

Put some money in a try it. If it doesn't work you can always go
shopping or give it to the wife, girlfriend or signifcant
other(assuming you have one) and they can go shopping so you wouldn't
be out anything.

I tried it last week. Bought a $50 prepaid visa debit (gift) card at
Ralphs, and tried to use it on Stars. It was declined. It cost $54.95.
I gave it to my girlfriend.

But you are willing to "bother" with prepaid visa cards that are going
to take a rake to get, a rake to use, and a rake if you don't use them.

Sheesh

I know people who say they use prepaid PHONE cards. Not sure how true that
is, or how it works exactly, but that comes from numerous different sources.

This depends if you are in the US or not.

If you are in the US, it seems that the recent law from what I have
read, is designed to specifically thwart this type of loophole.

A lot of sites reference that they accept ePassporte and that seems to
be a prepaid credit card. So maybe on of their's would work.

If you are not from the US, try this link and don't worry about sending
the poker room your money, get a free bankroll of up to $100.
