Are they running this thing like an online tournament?
At 1:50 pm PST - 540 players start
At 3:53 pm PST - 211 players left
At 5:44 pm PST - 119 players left
Isn't that way too fast for a live tournament with a $250,000 first place
prize?

Don't know, sorry. I seldom play in five diamonds, since 3NT is generally
easier. Too much pairs, perhaps.
