Subject: Feasible to win 600BB per week?

Some guy told me today that he wins $600 a week 6-tabling
50c/$1 LHE at pokerstars. Is this feasible?

The topic came up cos he was talking about playing in the sunday
million, so I asked why he was playing a 50c/1 table if he was good
enough to afford $200/week.

If he can win $2 per table per hour, thats $12 an hour, which would
require 50 hours to make $600.

When I first started playing online, I played in the smallest limit
games (.25-.50 and .50-1 on UB and Party) and average 6 big bets an
hour over a significant number of hours. I had a friend that played in
the same games and had the same win rate.

I've moved up and moved on since then, but I imagine a $.50-$1 game
these days could be beaten for 3 or 4 big bets an hour. But if that is
the case, this guy should consider moving up, since $600 should be a
big enough bankroll for $1/$2 by itself.

Also remember, you can convert FPP's into tournament entries, so he
might have been using those to play a $216.

Where just ABC poker is required to win, this number is possible and probable.

ABC may not be enough to win at higher limits.  I have a friend who plays $2/4
limit on 3 tables and does so for a meek living... playing ABC poker.

Assuming he plays 40 hours a week, that would be 15BB/hr.
Six tabling, that would be 2.5BB/hr per table. I have no doubt
that is possible. It might even be possible playing fewer
tables for less hours.
