So I was out with some freinds tonight and we were discussing what was the best way to spend my 130,000 points. If I should get the 40" LCD or 9 x $T215. The TV would appear to be worth around $2,500 which is better than the $T1,935 Also ..I do need a TV , I have an 8 year old 42" rear projection thats started needing ten minutes to warm up and is a little fuzzy here & there. Plus if I take the tourney dollars Im sure I wont cash anything out and will just take some shots in some bigger tourneys than I normally would. (maybe not a bad thing if i hit in one or two) ...so Im gonna get the TV Now ...one of the lads out with us couldnt get his head around the fact that PS cill send me a 42" TV just for playing on their site. So we started to do some quick maths. I have 130,000 Fpps and I estimate Ive spent around 30,000 more. So 160,000 points in total ...some of these were earned before the VPP thing and since then some at silver , most at gold and a few at platinum so its hard to work out exactly but lets say 100,000 base points to get 5 points in tourney play you have to pay $1 in rake (and its fairly similar in cash games) ...so in earning these points I have paid PS $20,000 in rake!? Over the past 2 years I am up a little over $2k ...without the rake that would be $22k!? ....damn! ....why is there never a decent game going on WPX! Are my sums right ? ......if so Ive made 22k "pre tax" profit playing poker? ..im pretty fucking good then no? :) _______________________________________________________________ Posted using RecPoker.com v2.2 - http://www.recpoker.com

Remember that you earn FPPs for hands that you were not involved in. ------ RecGroups : the community-oriented newsreader : www.recgroups.com
