I believe the former is an acronym for Buy A Handjob Hansen which refers to what
Gus has sunk to after 2+ years of playing the way he does.
And the latter is something that stoners say when they drop their marijuana
cigarette on the floor.

I have a friend who uses that term regularly. He's Italian-American, from
northern New Jersey. And yeah, he distinguishes "the joint" (best possible
hand at the time) from "the stone joint" (unbreakable best hand).
