I just got this email sent to an email address that was
given only to UltimateBet. I track my tagged email addresses
pretty carefully, so I have a pretty good idea of where
my address is being leaked. (Cough, PPA, cough.)
Any other current/former customers get this one?

The owners of UB stole millions of dollars from their customers then lied
about it, covered it up, did it again, lied about it, covered it up, paid
themselves off to make it seem like something had been done about it, and
you're wondering if they gave your email address out?

You make an excellent point sir.
UBet always struck me as slimy and second-rate, which is why
I didn't spend much time playing there. This is just one more
case of them proving me right.

Yeah I won't play there after this whole fiasco. It's a shame too because
IMO they have the best playing interface of all the sites.

WOW, really?
I haven't played there in a few years, but when I did their
interface was abysmal. They used IE for the client, and it
was just godawful.

Just the table/actual playing interface I mean. Nice and fast, buttons in
a nice location, they don't change positions, and just overall nice speedy
interface.
The lobby and especially tourney lobby interfaces, yeah, those are
horrible. Still IE based, and still super slow and don't update well at
all. Plenty of times the lobby shows 1 seat open on a table but by the
time it opens up there's already 3 on the waiting list.

I do something similar with email addresses to my domain, but I use
one email address for all poker-site-related crap. I didn't get this
email to that address, although I used it to sign up to UB in 2004 or
so. I checked my spambox too.
