Subject: Vegas poker rooms - rake question

I like to play the lower blind level NL cash games. But I just read that Caeser's raised the rake on its 1/3 blind $500 max buy-in game to 10% up to $5, plus a $1 drop for the bad beat jackpot. So that's $6 plus a tip from a $50 pot. Is this a typical rake? It wasn't the last time I was in Vegas (about a year ago). ____________________________________________________________________ * kill-files, watch-lists, favorites, and more.. www.recgroups.com

The last time I played at Caesar=92s it was $4 plus $1 but they very well may have increased. Play at the Wynn, Bellagio, or Mirage. All better poker rooms with a good choice of games. $2/$5 no-limit is 5% to a maximum of $4 total rake. The pot needs to be $90 to take the full $4. There is no =91extra=92 promotional $1 ripped off. (I think the $1/$3 is 10% to $4 max. The Bellagio spreads $1/$2 and $2/$5 and higher)
