A challenge is issued by an online pro offering 3-1 playing 4 games at a time for a month (about the time it would take). Next, you have Phil Ivey reportedly accepting the challenge. The word is Ivey owes the Bellagio 10-15 million from playing craps. Next you have Benyamine supposedly considering the offer also, yet just this week he was being backed by Antonius in a game at the Bellagio which he went broke in. Then, Benyamine was seen and heard begging Antonius for $10,000 cash. $10,000 cash, and he was nagging Antonius for this minor amount, yet he's thinking of playing for millions at this time? Scams like this are a dime a dozen in poker. They're a dime a gross in pool. Back in the 90s, Bob Stupak played Russ Hamilton a $100,000 freezeout. Everyone watched in awe. It was frontpage news in poker at the time. One problem, Stupak paid Hamilton $10,000 to lose on purpose as he had an agenda. Both made money as Stupak had cheated Betty Carey and was being sued. This match added credibility to Stupak's supposed poker playing ability, since he was beating a WSOP main event winner. The reason I know, I heard it from the HORSE'S MOUTH. Not 3rd hand, not 2nd hand, but 1st hand. You have guys who are rumored to be empty accepting challenges for millions? If you can accept these challenges, wouldn't the debts be paid? Rumors always have a start. Next we'll have the poker morons buying video's and the rest of the BS to make these guys money. Think Amarillo Slim back in the 70s. The bullshit never ended there. We have a Ponzi scheme in the headlines now. Some have lost their fortunes in it, some have committed suicide. Because it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, doesn't mean it's a duck. Some very bright people lose millions, even billions in the latest Ponzi scam. All that glitters is not gold. but their a sucker born every minute. These days every second. Tell them that Marty Carson and David Sklansky used to work for Bob Stupak at his casino. Carson was the guy who I accused of being a professional cheating paraphenalia expert and the one who furnished Doyle and Chip with equipment for years, as well as supplying the camera and marked cards that beat Betty Carey. The same Marty Carson in the Bellagio incident. On Jan 7, 8:10=EF=BF=BDpm, "RAZZO RUSS SUCK THE BIG ONE" <DMK102...@BELLSOUTH.NET > wrote: > Betty carey now that's a name from the past. Betty carey now that's a name from the past. She was about the only woman in big limit poker back in the 70"s She played so fast that the big boys cut her loose because she was pressing thier pants in $100,000 head up freeze outs.(she had a backer because she was sitting on a million dollars). I remenber when we were both hustlings the 20/40 game in billings montana and the game closed at 2. she was strong armed out of her money as she was entering her motel room. She pulled out her gun and ran the guy down. she got her money. fearless. stupak ( stupid he was called) took her for $185,000 with a crooked dealer at blackjack. the man behind the eye in the sky grabed the taped and tried to blackmail stupid. when he couldn't he sent it to the nevada gambling commishion, there was publisity, betty got paid and it was swept under the rug. betty disappered from the gambling scen a few years later and hasn't been seen since. Both made money as Stupak had cheated Betty Carey and was being sued.
