Betty played more like a man than any woman I've ever seen play. She had heart, and a lot of it. Very dangerous opponent when the stacks got deep. On Dec 21 2008 9:44 AM, WaltWhitman wrote: > 1.. I didn,t know that Al Korsin died. I thought he was playing at the Commerce. When and how did he die? Sissy certainley won for a longer time then Betty, but she played mostly 20/40 and 30/60, while Betty played much bigger. Betty could win in one sitting what it could take Sissy a year to win. Did not know Bill Bennet. On Dec 21 2008 8:51 AM, FangBanger wrote: > On Dec 21 2008 9:44 AM, WaltWhitman wrote: > > > 1.. I saw Al a few years ago, in Albuquerque, and he was way less then 200 lbs. I asked him how he lost the weight, and he said he was in the carribean for 4 years working for a bookie, and there was nothing there he liked to eat. He looked healthy to me, and he told me he had won over 250k from a pot limit game in Albuquerque, from someone called Sam the Banker, who had recently died. Al said he was going to L.A. You know a lot of people, maybe you can find out how he died. I would sure appreciate it. He was not a particularly nice person, but he once did me a great favor.
