Well lads, it's that time of year again. Time for RGP 2009 Poker & Personal
Resolutions. I'm still working on mine and will post them shortly. Any one

No poker goals for 2009. Doubt I will play much in 2009. My personal
goals for 2009 are to compete in several duathlons and Triathlons(Sprint
and Super Sprint) along with the Chicago & New York marathons. Hopefully
by the end of 2009 I will be able to compete in an Ironman in 2010.

good luck with that. i ran the LA marathon a couple years ago and
finished in 4:10 - - not great, though I believe I beat puff daddy's
and oprah's time. it was a bitch - i wasn't ready.
it's always been held the first week in march, but they just pushed it
back to May 25th. want to do it again and finish under 4 hours. keep
us posted on your progress... a few of my friends do tri's... i can't
swim. would be good to see an RGP'er pull of the iron man, that's no
joke... you do that and you get props. (though i personally wouldn't
want to see Bob T stop posting, or IM... i like to see a little
volatile chemistry every now and then. hehe).
poker goals - play more. a lot more. get better. don't be afraid to
move up in stakes and take risks.
personal goals - do something worthwhile. quit making big plans and
never following through with things... and daydreaming life away.
quit taking the easy route all the time. get the fuck off my ass and
mix it up a little.

LOL.. Yes, I caught it this time. I hope to be ready by the end of 2009
to do an Ironman in spring 2010.

2009 Poker Goals
1. Play more live games. I live right next to Foxwoods but rarely go.
2. Study poker by reading articles, books and analyzing hands. I get lazy
about this.
3. Work on my discipline.
4. Play a wider range of games.
2009 Personal Goals
1. Live to see 2010.
