Obama's over all approval rating is 60%, and public support for the
spending bill is shaky at best.
He's only been in office a matter of days and the screw-ups are in
everything he's done: Democrat, pork loaded spending bill, tax cheat
appointments, and a staged, softball "press conference". We won't even
mention lying about Rahm Emanuel discussing his vacant senate seat with
Blagojevich.

Or the fact that he appointed an unqualified, left wing hack to destroy the
CIA and handcuff America's intelligence gathering capability. Or his
decision to close Gitmo and stop the military tribunals with out a clue
about what to do with the existing terrorists or those we capture in the
future. If you think Obama's ratings are low now, wait until people see
that his pork barrel spending program isn't working and/or there is another
terrorist attack on American soil. Obama was an inexperienced, unqualified
far left winger that happened to be black. Hollywood, liberals, blacks and
the mainstream media fell in love with the guy and his followers fainted at
his feet. Well now the campaign is over and people are seeing that the rock
star Messiah they electecd is just another run-of-the-mill politican. And
not a very good one at that.

That poll is based on the first three days, numbnuts.
It was also in the wake of the most blatant, massive media cheerleading
for a presidential candidate in history, and before the pork bill and
the tax cheats.
People aren't giving him an 87% approval rating on the transistion
anymore. A transition is supposed to be without problems. Plus, an 87%
approval rating on a transition is so apolitical that it's like an
approval rating on his tie. But, he fucked that up.
