Well, AI may be a creep, but it is looking like a good trade.
Chauncy and Mcdyess for AI, but McDyes is back with the Pistons.

It took awhile, but AI is fitting in nicely now.

When we played AI when he was in Philly it really bugged me how often he
would flop and push off so that he slid halfway down the floor when
someone came near him. He does not do that as much now which i am glad
for.

I LOVED the trade and was a HUGE Chauncey fan. It was a cap move we
needed the room for the next couple years. AI is better than Chauncey
obviously, but he is basically a rent a player at the end of his playing
career.

I would not mind keeping him around for a few more years at something WAY
less than his 21 mil a year contract and he would have to be a bench
player unless Rip was dealt somewhere else for a PF or center etc.

I said from the beginning I was going to give them until February before I
said 'good trade' 'bad trade' as far as making the TEAM better, but tit
for tat Chaunce could only dream of being the player AI is.

And again I STILL am a BIG Chaunce fan.

I hear Chauncy is doing a great job in Denver.

I watched the Denver -v- Miami game along with the Pistons -v- Portland
Game last night (WTF happened in THAT game? I am coming down with a cold
so I went to bed at half time yesterday and while Portland was making a
run at the end of the half we dominated them the WHOLE game and we lose by
2?)

Chaunce was being Chaunce. He is a good player and he is leading that
offense and dropping the (more than) occasional 3.

I think it was obvious Denver needed to get rid of AI and Chaunce is a
PERFECT fit for them.

This time next year you will be saying Chaunce who? (because of Stuckey
of course-What a GREAT player he looks to be! And I have to pat myself on
the back I have been asking for more Stuckey since he got here)
