Is this post for real, or some kind of sarcasm? Did I really win something?
What happened, did they tie 8-8? I wouldn't know, I've been at the casino
all day. I hit a royal on a 25-cent machine for $1000. That was cool.
Drew to the AKQ of clubs, caught the JT. Maybe it's my lucky day. What did
I win on the Super Bowls? Is this for real, or a joke? How come Morphy
posted that he won and that I was "so close"? If this was anyone but Susan
I would not believe this post.

You had 0-7 as two of your numbers. The score was Steelers 10 Cardinals 7
and the Cardinals were just about to score. Instead they threw an
interception and some big fat dude ran it the entire length of the field
with literally 0 seconds on the clock before halftime to score, making it
17-7 and giving me the win for the quarter. There were more details but
I'm sure you don't really care about them.

It seems our squares weren't into the ass kicking as much as they were the
tying. Good job and congrats.

Congrats Morphy, I had 7 7 in another pool and was happy. Too bad your
score was 4 times mine.

You're welcome for the square placement Paul.

BTW o0o Mark, the winning square for him was one of the 2 that were on the
same line.

No shit, you only had him on 2 lines! Had you spread them out a little
better he'd have $300 right now instead of $100 but you fucked him!

Hope he doesn't try to reciprocate as he likes to choose (make) his

Yeah if you call winning 100.00 on a 20.00 bet "getting fucked" then yes
you got fucked.

Yeah that's why I wanted to do at least $10 squares. The good thing is
that with the 7-7 quarter I broke even on Stars last night, lol.

Damn the Steelers though. If it weren't for that miracle play I had a
really good chance at the score staying 20-23 and I would have won that
too.

I did remember why I stopped doing these square pools though...it takes
all interest of the game away except for crazy stupid shit like "oh well
it's 27-23, so if the cards score exactly at 0:00 then it'll be 27-29 and
they won't have them kick the extra point so I'll win that quarter as
well!" If I do another one I'll make sure I don't look up what my numbers
are beforehand and just watch the game to enjoy the game.

Paul you won the third quarter for a total of $100. The score was Pitts 20
Ari 7 which means the numbers are Pitts 0 - Ari 7. Square 39 is the
corresponding one and it has your name in it.

You won $100.

Once Paul sends it to me I will send it to Susan and she can send it to
you.

I'm looking on the internet right now, and it says the 3rd quarter was 3-0.
How did I get 3 & 0? I wrote down 8, 8, 4, 7, 0, before I went to the

Paul, the 3rd period total score was 20 to 7.

0 for Pitt, 7 for Arizona. (the last digit is the key one) Square # 39 is
what you had.

As I mentioned, I hit a royal on a video poker machine yesterday too, for
$1000. My lucky day. But I think I like the video poker a lot better than
this football pool stuff, because then I don't have to think. What happened

It isn't cryptic code for people with gray matter, snicklefritz.

Many now know you're nothing more than a Skillz wannabe (Mel will explain).

Oh, so that's your little game, eh? You are comparing someone who did not
pay, to me, who is owed. Was my name in the 8-8 square before kick-off
time? Yes, it was, so there is no discrepancy, is there. For whatever
reason, I failed to have my name taken out of the squares with Morphy and
JBK touching them, before kick-off time. If my squares had lost, would you
now say that I should get my money back now? Once the game starts, and the
action is down, it has to go. Skillz got his action down, and then
welchboed. I got my action down, even against my wishes, and now I will
accept the cash. Watch what you say about comparing me to a weirdo like
Skillz. I will kill-suite your ass so fast your head will spin. I've had

No "game"...just talking facts, Skillz 2.

trustworthy at all.

> Was my name in the 8-8 square before kick-off time? Yes, it was, so there

Irrelevant to the POINT that is being discussed.

You said: "I'm not playing." Period. This means you're taking action
(removing yourself from the game/squares), regardless of what anyone else
does or doesn't do. THAT IS WHAT IT MEANS, assjack! Er, um, I mean, this
is what it means spoken from a man with integrity.

>For whatever reason, I failed to have my name taken out of the squares with
Morphy and JBK >touching them, before kick-off time.

Again... other people's actions/lack of actions have no bearing on the
meaning of your words (well, to an honest man they don't); "I'm not
playing" requires only YOUR actions, so stop "pulling a Skillz" and trying
to make lame excuses.

>If my squares had lost, would you now say that I should get my money back now?

Logic not your strong suit, huh?

NO... you should not get your money back in the above scenario... can't
you THINK, numbnuts?

YOU removed yourself from the game/squares...PERIOD. No one else is
required to take any other action whatsoever (JBK was not obligated to
refund your money).

No one (sorry, Peter) but YOU removed yourself from the game AND (the
important part) no one else had to do anything to make it valid.

*Your statement alone made your removal valid.*

>Once the game starts, and the action is down, it has to go. Skillz got his
action down, and

SEE ABOVE, Skillz 2.

Of course you will... all welchbos do.

> Watch what you say about comparing me to a weirdo like Skillz.

If the planet fits...

> I will kill-suite your ass so fast your head will spin. I've had about

Put in _Huster TV_ and a Real Doll and I'm good to go (I prefer Barbara to
Christina, fwiw).

Uh oh... looks like someone's getting so worked up, discombobulated and

Here Here, and even if he did want out of the pool the organizer never
allowed him to be nor refunded the entrance money. Since Paul was never
released from to original wager he has no choice but to accept the money.

I second the STFD and STFU.

Good luck with THAT! Hey PeePee, you are a 'horse track' kind of guy
right? We have a track here (I think it is buggy) that is starting a
'charity poker room' so I am guessing I am going to spend some time there.
I may drop a dollar or 2 on some races, but I have never really 'bet on
horses' before.

Any tips for a first timer?

I don't know about buggys, but to a person seriously wanting to improve
their horse game, I would strongly recommend Joe Takach. To a clueless
newbie like you, though, John, who will never take horse racing any more
seriously than you do poker, I would recommend limiting your exposure to a
few $2 entertainment bets, and enjoying washing down a couple track hot dogs
with some $4 cups of beer.

BEST advice I have ever seen from ya PeePee. Thanks!

WTF is all this trifecta stuff though?

Can I bet on more than one horse in a race?

How many races do they have and HTF are they racing with all the snow we
have here?

John, during the summer here in California, we have a fair circuit.
Although the big tracks like Hollywood Park and Del Mar are still going,
there is a smaller and cheaper horse running for two-week meets at several
of our county fairs. For instance, Stockton, Fresno, Santa Rosa,
Pleasanton, Sacramento, etc. Typically, they run mixed races amongst the
card of cheap thoroughbreds. Arabians, Quarter Horses, etc. And here's
something of real interest, John. Over the last decade or so they have also
had donkey races. I kid you not. These are real races, with decent size
purses. Donkey races. I'm not making this up.

Anyway, I don't know why I'm telling you this, or whether I have a point or
not. I guess I just thought of you, and then thought of donkey races,
random thoughts and no connection between the two topics.

You're really on a roll today Paul. How in the world can you mention
these county fairs and not mention the LA County Fair in Pomona? WTF?
God damn. Is there any subject you know what the fuck you're talking
about?

We used to go every year and made sure we went on a day when Tower of
Power was performing. Don't even think about telling me they suck. I've
already told you I don't give a shit what you think about music.

On the contrary, I do know what I'm talking about. When the fair meets of
the northern part of the state are struggling to net a million dollar handle
per card, Pomona is handling in the millions, with some very good allowance
and handicap stock. It's apples and oranges, and you have just demonstrated
your embarrassingly pronounced ignorance to the whole newsgroup.

What does THAT have to do with horse racing with buggies in Northville
Downs? Is Stockton, Santa Rosa, Pleasanton and Sacramento names of
horses? Does it have something to do with Trifecta? I have never been to
a race track PeePee i thought maybe you could help me out.

And WTF does donkey races have to do with anything? Are Arabians like the
rich horses or something? And WHY THE FUCK would YOU or anyone else
participate in something as sick as watching a quarter of a horse race?
And HTF does a quarter of a horse race? Do they put pieces on the buggy
or something? If that is the case I will NOT be going to this track if
they participate in THAT kind of thing. THAT is just gross. In fact I
may get in touch with PETA and see how THEY like that shit.

I didn't skip over that part. I am not a lifelong or long time horse
track go toer guy so I am not looking to get rich or make a bunch of money
just have fun.

WTF is a ploppy? I know what a sucker is and I am shocked you think I am
one. I also know what a loser is, there are plenty on this group.

If it is a good place for me what does it mean to YOU buddy? Huh?

That is all I wanted was a little advice from a 'horse track go toer guy'
and I thought you were one of those and I guess I thought wrong. It
doesn't sound like you know WTF you are talking about.

Maybe I should go ask Clave or Risky or something about Horse tracks
because YOU just want to talk about donkeys and ploppys.

I was just trying to get some advice.

See I think YOU guys have it backwards. Now when someone says STFU and
STFD in ANY order the first thing they want is the person to shut up NOT
sit down. I mean if they sit down first then they can yap the whole time
they are sitting down. That could take like a minute if they are an old
person. I mean have you ever saw a REALLY old person trying to sit down?

are sitting.

REALLY put them in their place.
