What happened, did they tie 8-8? I wouldn't know, I've been at the casino all day. I hit a royal on a 25-cent machine for $1000. That was cool. Drew to the AKQ of clubs, caught the JT. Maybe it's my lucky day. What did I win on the Super Bowls? Is this for real, or a joke? How come Morphy posted that he won and that I was "so close"? If this was anyone but Susan I would not believe this post.

The good thing is that with the 7-7 quarter I broke even on Stars last night, lol. Damn the Steelers though. If it weren't for that miracle play I had a really good chance at the score staying 20-23 and I would have won that too. I did remember why I stopped doing these square pools though...it takes all interest of the game away except for crazy stupid shit like "oh well it's 27-23, so if the cards score exactly at 0:00 then it'll be 27-29 and they won't have them kick the extra point so I'll win that quarter as well!" Er, um, I mean, this is what it means spoken from a man with integrity. >For whatever reason, I failed to have my name taken out of the squares with Morphy and JBK >touching them, before kick-off time. Again... other people's actions/lack of actions have no bearing on the meaning of your words (well, to an honest man they don't); "I'm not playing" requires only YOUR actions, so stop "pulling a Skillz" and trying to make lame excuses. >If my squares had lost, would you now say that I should get my money back now? No one else is required to take any other action whatsoever (JBK was not obligated to refund your money). No one (sorry, Peter) but YOU removed yourself from the game AND (the important part) no one else had to do anything to make it valid. *Your statement alone made your removal valid.* >Once the game starts, and the action is down, it has to go. BEST advice I have ever seen from ya PeePee. Thanks! WTF is all this trifecta stuff though? Can I bet on more than one horse in a race? How many races do they have and HTF are they racing with all the snow we have here? ========================================== You must not think me necessarily foolish because I am facetious, nor will I consider you necessarily wise because you are grave. ============================== 47.5% of all statistics are made up on the spot. Although the big tracks like Hollywood Park and Del Mar are still going, there is a smaller and cheaper horse running for two-week meets at several of our county fairs. For instance, Stockton, Fresno, Santa Rosa, Pleasanton, Sacramento, etc. Typically, they run mixed races amongst the card of cheap thoroughbreds. Arabians, Quarter Horses, etc. And here's something of real interest, John. Over the last decade or so they have also had donkey races. I kid you not. These are real races, with decent size purses. Donkey races. I'm not making this up. Anyway, I don't know why I'm telling you this, or whether I have a point or not. I guess I just thought of you, and then thought of donkey races, random thoughts and no connection between the two topics. -PP PS: I guarantee you read my post and completely skipped over the "Joe Takach" comment, without giving it a second thought and having absolutely zero curiosity as to what I was talking about. How in the world can you mention these county fairs and not mention the LA County Fair in Pomona? WTF? God damn. Is there any subject you know what the fuck you're talking about? When the fair meets of the northern part of the state are struggling to net a million dollar handle per card, Pomona is handling in the millions, with some very good allowance and handicap stock. It's apples and oranges, and you have just demonstrated your embarrassingly pronounced ignorance to the whole newsgroup. -PP PS: Ha! Tower of Power? That's rich. These are real races, with decent size > purses. Donkey races. I'm not making this up. What does THAT have to do with horse racing with buggies in Northville Downs? Is Stockton, Santa Rosa, Pleasanton and Sacramento names of horses? Does it have something to do with Trifecta? I have never been to a race track PeePee i thought maybe you could help me out. And WTF does donkey races have to do with anything? Are Arabians like the rich horses or something? And WHY THE FUCK would YOU or anyone else participate in something as sick as watching a quarter of a horse race? And HTF does a quarter of a horse race? Do they put pieces on the buggy or something? If that is the case I will NOT be going to this track if they participate in THAT kind of thing. THAT is just gross. In fact I may get in touch with PETA and see how THEY like that shit. > PS: I guarantee you read my post and completely skipped over the "Joe > Takach" comment, without giving it a second thought and having absolutely > zero curiosity as to what I was talking about. I didn't skip over that part. I am not a lifelong or long time horse track go toer guy so I am not looking to get rich or make a bunch of money just have fun. WTF is a ploppy? I know what a sucker is and I am shocked you think I am one. I also know what a loser is, there are plenty on this group. If it is a good place for me what does it mean to YOU buddy? Huh? That is all I wanted was a little advice from a 'horse track go toer guy' and I thought you were one of those and I guess I thought wrong. It doesn't sound like you know WTF you are talking about. Maybe I should go ask Clave or Risky or something about Horse tracks because YOU just want to talk about donkeys and ploppys.
