Subject: Obama picks tax cheat to head Treasury

Well The Messiah picked Tim Geithner to be Treasury Secretary. It's always
a key position but the selection is even more important now given the
current economic crisis. Problem is The Messiah picked a tax cheat. An
investigation revealed that Geithner didn't pay self employment taxes on his
housekeeper for four years. And it turns out she was an illegal, given that
her visa to be in this country had expired. So you got Obama's other
cabinet pick, Richardson, withdrawing because he got caught taking payoffs.
Then it turns out Obama got some of the same kick-back money Richardson
received. Then Obama got caught lying about having never talked to Blago
about filling his vacant senate seat. Not to mention the fact that the
majority of Obama's cabinet picks have just been left over liberal hacks
from Slick Willie Clinton's reign.
Well all this may be change the lunatic liberal left can believe in but to
the 55,000,000+ of us who did not vote for The Messiah, it sure as hell
looks like the same old crooked Washington politics-as-usual.

In the 80's or 90's this would have sunk an appointment outright. Now
everyone's all "It could happen to anybody." If we all decided to underpay
our taxes en masse, what would the IRS do? What could they do? Do they have
enough workers to handle 50 to 100 million tax cheats? I guess they'd start
at the top and work down. If you draw the bad lot in the lottery as to who
gets nailed, is saying "sorry, it was an oversight" and paying the tax owed
with interest all you have to do? They are practically begging the
unscrupulous to cheat, especially if they are going to portray it as "not a
big deal."

If it had been a Republican appointment, this would still sink it.
A guy defending Geithner on ABC this morning made the excuse "well, he's
paid them now." I chuckled to my wife, "Yeah, he paid them because he
got caught." And the IRS waived all penalties -- how nice for him. How
many of us would get the same consideration?

If this crooked bastard was a Republican it would still have sunk him.
But since Geithne was hand picked by The Messiah, there's no problem with a
repeated tax cheat
heading up the Treasury. It's just part of the "change we can believe in".

Not to worry, Reid has already proclaimed it "only a small matter." I think
he can get 2 - 4 yrs. in a federal pen if he were to refuse to pay up or lie
to federal investigators about it but to the democrat Senate majority leader
this kind of felony is only a small matter. Good times are a coming...

I don't know about Alaska, but some governors have almost no executive
responsibilities. Texas is an example of one such state.

Now you want to list Obama's executive experience? Other than being a state
senator who never initiated a single piece of major legislation and who
voted "present" more than thirty times to keep from making a decision. Or
being a "community organizer" and arm twister for ACORN and playing the race
card on any bank that did not make enough subprime loans to unqualified
borrowers.

The problem with Palin was not a lack of thorough vetting. Vetting is
used to look for skeletons in the closet. Palin was not a poor choice
because she failed to pay employment taxes at some point in her past;
she was a poor choice because she was entirely unqualified to be
president.

knowledge he isn't now, nor in the past been one.
Mike goes over the top a lot, but I don't see anything above that isn't
true.
Everyone was so quick to criticize the Republican party for not thoroughly
vetting Palin. It appears that the Democratic party is guilty of the same.
