Those that want to try and get together during my road trip should send me an e-mail. Dan and Alan come to mind. Razzo maybe this tiime we will get together. I will carry a cell phone this time (which I hate doing :) ) Just found out my son is coming over on the 6th so I will not be hitting the road until sometime after 10th. I am still planing on hitting Vegas, LA, Reno, bay area and maybe San Diego. I still would like input on what is going on in Reno and the bay area if anyone knows. Following is what I would consider dream games: Holdem limit 15-30 20-40 30-60 75-150 Holdem and omaha pot limit 5-10 10-25 and 15-30 which is very rare these days Omaha hi/lo limit same as holdem limit prefer 30-60 and 75-150 omaha pot limt almost any game up to 25-50 blinds nothing lower than 5-10 Would love to find a dealer choice or holdem omaha mixed pot limit game 5-10 to 15-30 Stud hi/lo or stud hi only 15-30 or 30-60 for some reason I hate 20-40 stud not really sure why. If I dust the rust off my game I of course would start looking at the 100-200 to the 300-600 limit games but I have not been on the road for some time so I really don't plan on playing higher than 75-150. This trip will be a real test for my body. I have not really been on the road since my bypass. My bypass is not really my concern the "AS" I have is/ I just don't know if I can control the pain and not effect my play at the same time. ________________________________________________________________________ : the next generation of web-newsreaders : http://www.recgroups.com

Hi Arlo, Sounds like fun. You might have a hard time finding limits like that in Reno. I know the Peppermill spreads a 10/20 lhe game. There are some casinos, like the JA Nugget, that I almost never go to, but I think they had a 5/10 lhe game the last time I went there (which was when I first moved here). If you need directions or any help with anything Reno, just email me and I'll be glad to help. Have fun. -- "Actually, I will read Jason's posts too. The news for Reno isn't exciting and from what I hear, not worth a trip. Straight from a guy who plays for survival there. If I dont win the first day I plan on robbing a bank or two :) But really not as much as one might think. Clearly if you are not wining you would play the lower limits until you started to win again. For me I feel very comfortable buying into a 75-150 game for 2500 to 5000 a 30-60 game for 2000 (most time I will start with 1K and make one rebuy) If I blow that I consider I am playing bad that day and call it a day. For most 5-10 pot limit games if I get stuck 1K I am done for the day. I hate big swings and I am also pretty picky about what games I play in when I am out to make money. If I dont like the game I dont play period. That is one reason you see 4 towns on my list. I do not need to play just to play. This trip I am looking to make money. I will be treating this trips games just like I did when I was playing for a living. 90% is based on game selection. And to try to answer you question if I get stuck 10K I will be very pissed off at myself ______________________________________________________________________ looking for a better newsgroup-reader? - www.recgroups.com
