I am shaking as I write this, it's not the first time I've fucked up
with poker, horses, sports and other shit but this time I'll lose my
marriage. 1 hour until the better half comes through the door and I'm
sitting here on a poker newsgroup. I'M SICK, I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO
WITH THIS ANYMORE!

You know how people always put 'LOL' in their messages, after a while
you get sick of the sight of it, you know these people aren't
literally laughing out loud that much. Be assured that this post,
about RGP people being winners, made me genuinely LOL.

How about your jaws, in a piece yet? Did the wife do what she was
expected to?
Does she work for a living and gives you a monthly allowance to throw
at poker?

You came to the wrong place, buddy, people are all winners here.
Now drag your losing ass to Gambler Anonymous and start maturing.

Do you live in the drak ages?
If you can't conrol your gamlbing you clearly have a medical problem
by definniton.
If you don't understand that then your medical problem is
that you are a cretin, or not far off.

Many of the people who are about to lose their jobs and savings can

Quick, sell your computer and tell the wife it broke so you threw the
fucking piece of shit out. That should cover 1/2 the rent for your shack.

*sigh* I figured YOU were joking, but if you're serious ...

1) go into the pantry and pull out a paper grocery bag.
2) find a sharpie, and write "RGPCC#3" in large letters on said bag.
3) hold the bag in front of your chest and strike a pose
4) have your wife (or someone else) snap a picture of you doing #3
5) send the jpg image to me via email, along with your pstars UID.
* do not photoshop an existing picture, you must pose for a new
one with bag in hand.

Follow those instructions and you'll be awarded the 3rd RGP
Charity Case award... you can search the archives for information
about the program, previous winners, etc.

In addition to the guaranteed stake from myself, RGPCC#3 is also
entitled to 10% of charrison's profit from the JBK squares! So it'd
be in your best interest to apply quickly, before someone else steals
your spot =)

... and after receiving the transfers, try sticking to limits appropriate
for your bankroll and winning for a change =) Less stressful that way.

Regards,
Mark

I don't like this at all. I think cs is a worthless sack of crap after the
way he has conducted himself in this poor troll.

But a deal is a deal and if you select him as RGPCC#3 I will honor by

I don't know what assistance I could offer. I'm not going to offer any
money.

I know some people here are kind of addicted to poker, and some of them
deal with it by just playing for micro-stakes. If you can't abstain, then
just play for money that doesn't mean anything to you, your rent will be
safe, and it shouldn't kill you marriage (unless it's already too late).
Other than that, don't play, or certainly you shouldn't be playing for
amounts that put your rent in jeopardy.

Don't neck yourself. I don't have much practical advice for you, because
I am not in your situation and never have been. If playing poker is a
problem for you, and it certainly sounds like it is, then you havve the
power to stop playing, if you can't do it by yourself, then maybe
something like Gambler's Anonymous. It's all in your own hands, the next
move is on you.

LOL, I guess that means we think alike. I was going to reply to this
idiot and then did that quick search and saw the way he was talking
there and realized he wasn't worth it. Obviously a pathetic attempt
at getting someone to feel bad for him and send him $10.

2/1,000.

I might catch a little hell if I lost more than $10,000 two nights in a
row but then again my rent is paid

Well, normally I'd suggest anywhere that your wife isn't.

However, since this is your first post on rgp, and as far as I can tell
the first posting for this nick ANYwhere on usenet, I hereby award you
3/10 on the troll meter.

An hour? Shit, wish I could have seen this sooner. In an hour you could
have won enough to pay rent for the year AND had time to get last second
floral delivery for the wife.

Or a .45 and a bullet or two. I'd say just one but if you're stupid
enough to lose rent money on poker you're probably stupid enough to not
kill yourself on the first shot.

Get help, seriouslyl. Life is giving you signals and you need to pay
attention.

Now the funny answer:
You have an hour, time to move up limits! Also, what site/table are you
playing on?

While you feel like this use the self ban option on all the sites. Cash
out everything and STOP.

Contact GA, follow the responsible gamblers link on all the poker
websites.
