Subject: Irish Mike's 2009 Poker & Personal Resolutions
I'm still working on my list of 2009 Poker & Personal Resolutions but will
start with this. In 2009 I will not initiate or participate in any RGP
posts on the following four (4) topics. Unless, I am personally insulted or
attacked by one of the posters, in which case I will respond and defend
myself. Those four (4) topics are:

#1. Arguments about the existence of God. I believe He exists and that's
all that matters.

#2. Religion vs. atheism. My religion and my faith have made me stronger
and helped me deal with terrible and tragic situations - in war and in daily
life. Atheists are welcome to winter solstice and nothingness beyond this
short life.

#3. Gay marriage. I believe a real marriage is between one man and one
woman. Butt banging cocksuckers and dykes can call their relationships what
ever they want.

#4. Abortion, excluding cases of rape, incest or saving the mother's life.
I believe murdering an innocent unborn child because he or she is
inconvenient is one the most horrible crimes a human being can commit. I
don't know how a person who participates in these murders lives with
themselves and I don't care to listen to their empty rationalizations.

On a brighter note, that still leaves poker, politics and the global warming
scam.

If we cut that to just poker, it'll be even better. I try, I really do try,
but sometimes I can't help myself (that could apply to poker, too. Hmmm)

#1. who says God is He and not she or it?
#2. where does it say that Atheists have no afterlife?
#3 Gays are entitled to the same legal rights as straights.
#4 Many people do not believe that abortion is murder!
PS I (like you) am a baptized Catholic and a product of 8yrs parochial
school,
4 yrs of Jesuit high school and graduated from a Jesuit University (USF).
The more I learned the more convinced that the Catholic Church did FAR
MORE HARM than it did good and that is a TOTAL scam, NOT GLOBAL warming
you pea brain!

They want to call it "marriage", so it sounds like you don't have a
problem with that. Cool.

So it's not murdering an "innocent unborn child" in cases of "rape, incest
or saving the mother's life"? I get it, in those cases it is acceptable to
murder an "innocent unborn child".

I'm glad that a)it is not considered murder and b)it is not considered a
child. This makes it logical to allow the woman to make her own decision,
legally.

Most folks can tell the real da pickle and the real Bob T. from the content
of the post itself.

I will admit that even I was fooled by the fake Bob T. post herein as it was
not so far off what Bob might have said.

I do not mind my little fake friend. He is so insecure in his own persona
that he has to fake others. It is sad. Actually, everyone that is so
scared of being themselves seem to make up a special group of very sad
folks. Imagine how poor one's self image must be to have to resort to such
childishness.

Bukowski had a good quote in LIfe Magazine years ago --

"For those who believe in God, most of the big questions are answered.
But for those of us who can't readily accept the God formula, the big
answers don't remain stone-written. We adjust to new conditions and
discoveries. We are pliable. Love need not be a command or faith a
dictum. I am my own God. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the
church, state and our education system. We are here to drink beer. We
are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our
lives so well that Death will tremble to take us."

Bob T. is the "fake" pickle? Whoa bucko - that is way out of bounds! I
knew you were a left wing loon Bob, but I never thought you'd sink low
enough to impersonate Pickle! You've managed to single handedly lower the
ethical behavior bar for the lunatic liberal left and that's damn near
impossible for that crew of scum bags. Shame! Shame on you Bob T !

Yes. I was wondering why the fake pickle would be targeting Bob T., as
they both have liberal politics. After looking over past threads, I think
it's because Bob T. has been busting on the fake pickle for using an
impostor handle.

If you say so lass. But, for the record, I still don't completely trust Bob
T.

Ryan O'Neil in Paper Moon: "I've got ethics. You know what they are?"
Tatum O'Neil in Paper Moon: "No, but if you got 'em, I bet they belong to

If Bob T's got any ethics I bet he stole them from Pickle.
