Does anyone know where I could find, either online or in print, a guide to
chips from famous illegal casinos? (ex. Balinese Room)

ask wendeen elois .. she got a shitload of em shut down , and she may have
had the foresight to steal some chips , knowing that she was about to get
them closed !!

if it is not in the book (unless Rip wrote it) there is a guy in
Mississippi that probably knows more about that subject than any living
person. He also has a very impressive chip collection plus he ran
illegal casinos for much of his life. He can be found playing in the
Mississippi coast casinos daily - he plays pretty good too
