Why do you want out of the hand? You should be in the hand. You are short stacked. And there is a high probability that you are the substantial heads up favorite when all the money gets in. And you are. Results are WAY secondary, especially with these circumstances. A longer answer is that you shouldn't be in this circumstance in the first place and you have to ask why you don't have more chips. But in the absence of any other information, beats happen. You get them, and you give them. In many major tournaments MANY if not most of the people who go out of the tournament had good and often the best hands preflop, and just got unlucky going out.

But if you're looking to find a way to fold this based on the results of the hand, you should pick up some poker books and do some reading about decision making. --- Morphy xaqmorphy@donkeymanifesto.com http://www.donkeymanifesto.com "SHUT UP IDIOT" --The Great Patholio ---- : the next generation of web-newsreaders : http://www.recgroups.com

the question was more about how hand was played (eg bet, check, raise and miminise the damage) rather than if I should have played it? You should be thinking how to get all you chips into the middle whilst picking up some action. You had the prefect result. You lost a 30/70 race. Get over it and move along. You have KK it's the dream situation. Unless you are 100% that he has AA you should be calling faster the Hellmuth. To question that play is wrong you played it right and took a beat. It happens.
