Shit for brains : Paragraph TWO explained, you fucking retard, exactly why lowering CG HELPS the economy by getting more investment INTO business, and RAISING the tax LOWERS incentive for people to take the risk. Are you saying, shit for brains, you're too retarded for this : Lowering taxes DOES provide incentive for people to invest NEW money, at what they hope is the bottom of the market. Raising taxes kills THAT incentive. So YES, shithead, on this issue I DO get to have it both ways, because taxes are only on GAINS, not losses. THANK YOU for demonstrating to the entire group EXACTLY how big a shit for brains you are. Carry on > > Christ, you get pissy when you're wrong. > > Jim > >

Obama will probably benefit from the cyclic nature of the economy. If there's little improvement in four years then it would certainly appear that we're in for a rough ride.

That was a good guideline back in the day! New rules and regulations need to be incoperated into the Constitution to meet the needs of "CHANGE"..There needs to be a study of how things got out of ,the control of the people and into the hands of greedy polititians. Education has not taught people how to become self efficient but to become more dependent on taking advantange of the gullable! Judge Roy Bean would wear out his hanging rope in Washington DC.The fear of God has been removed from society and noone has a concious anymore! Cainning needs to be reinstated into the schools and allow the children to take responsibility for their own actions, instead of blaming their misbehavior on their parents!! However older should be the wiser but not the case!! I think a dictatorship would be the only way we could reverse the worlds opinion of the USA! Right after I win my Nobel Prize and get my $5mil from Uncle Ruport I will run for office and my first part of buisiness would be to put a cap on the amount of money a citizen could earn and all above that amount would go to the government Where it would be distributed for an international bailout !! There would be lots of jobs available then, people would learn how to appreciate what they had, and then we could all get along, nomore wrong side of the tracks or poor people .but people of equal value as was the original intention <I;-) VOTE FOR ME

Sure, Mike -- eliminate it and make it even easier for people to pull money out of an already crashing market. If anything, the CG tax should have been increased. Too late to do anything like that now. My post, BTW, wasn't entirely snark. Mike probably doesn't know it himself, but he's a classic cheap-labor conservative, and any "solutions" he proposes (or more likely just parrots) will reflect that. Jim

BUT I want to make sure everyone ELSE knows you're an idiot. Lowering capital gains taxes in a down market doesn't provide incentive for people to pull out of the market. Raising taxes also doesn't provide incentive to pull out of the market while it's down. They're LOSING. Those cashing out have no tax related incentives. Lowering taxes DOES provide incentive for people to invest NEW money, at what they hope is the bottom of the market. Raising taxes kills THAT incentive. So YES, shithead, on this issue I DO get to have it both ways, because taxes are only on GAINS, not losses.

There were 117,000,000 votes cast in the presidential election and Obama only won by 7,000,000. There were 55,000,000+ of us who did not vote for him. McCain & Palin were ahead in the polls before the financial disaster hit in mid-September and if McCain had been smarter and a better communicator, he would still have won. The "affirmation action Messiah card" has been played. If Obama does not turn this economy around or if there is another terrorist attack on American soil within the next four years, he will be a one term President. assuming he's not impeached. And, if he has not turned the economy around within in the next two years, look for conservatives to start taking back congressional seats. When Obama gutted America's anti-terrorist defenses and introduced a massive, fat-loaded, pork barrel $ trillion dollar spending program to fix the economy, he not only rolled the dice on America's future, but on his own. The Fed interest rates are close to zero. There was > already a recent massive tax cut. The economy is still tanking. America has one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world. It is insane to still be taxing capital gains and dividends in this economy. We are forcing corporations to cut investment and send jobs over seas. We are crippleing small businesses with taxes and strangling them with red tape. If you cut corporate and business taxes and even temporarily suspended the capital gains and dividend taxes, the stock market would jump 1500 points over night. Businesses would have a real incentive to invest, expand and create new jobs. We need to offer low interest, fixed rate home mortgages to *qualified* borrowers and forget about forcing banks to make unsound entitlement subprime loans. We need to start fixing our infrastructure with private sector labor. We need to start drilling for American oil. We need send Wall Street crooks like Madoff to prison, not house arrest in multi-million dollar condos. We need to announce that there will be no new taxes for at least two years. And Obama needs to do what he said he would do when he was campaigning - cut wasteful and unnecessary government spending. Remember his promise to "go over the federal budget, line by line, and eliminate all unnecessary spending, subsidies and programs"? He needs to do that, and eliminate all ear-mark spending, instead of pushing this disgraceful $ trillion dollar pork barrel, welfare, social engineering bill. Irish Mike
