Don't thank the Obama/Democrats' socialist spending spree. Thank the
Fed, and thank the Republicans for fighting for tax cuts.

Funny you didn't use the word "spending" for the much higher percenage
of the total, moron. If there weren't some tax cuts, the bipartisan
support attempt of the bill would have been a total joke from the
beginning.

The added tax cuts in the senate version is because of Republicans, not
Democrats.

Here is a clue, when you have the majority in both houses and the
executive, any hint at bipartisanship is a total JOPKE.

The Republicans will lose there shirt on this because the Dem's Are in a
Win/ Win situation in this crisis.

If stimulus doesn't work, who will Know, All will say it would have
been worse. If the economy turns around in 2 yrs, then the Re pubs were
the obstructionist that blocked the recovery from happening sooner.

face it , MORON, OBAMA did the Re pubs a favor.

Yeah , THE ADDED ones are ... 5% out of 40 % were added by the Re pubs,

Lol, no, idiot, a stimulus is needed, not taxpayer money going to every
socialist program that's ever wanted big "wish list" funding for the
last 15 years.

That's "a clue". That's one of the dumbest things ever posted. You
destroy your own pathetic argument with that statemnt, and you're
obviously too dumb to know it.

"If stimulus doesn't work, who will Know, All will say it would have

Stimulus? Half the House bill was pure pork.
A long time ago, Romney proposed a stimulus bill that was one quarter
the size of the current Democrat spend frenzy. And it included the much
needed roads and bridges reconstruction.

"If the economy turns around in 2 yrs, then the Re pubs were

No, just the opposite, If the economy recovers, it'll happen for
reasons other than the Democrats socialist spending; despite the
Democrat pork.

Thanks for the "facts" from your ass. Senate Republicans brought the
tax cuts on their version to about 42% (to 58% Democrat spending) on
the total amount of the bill. Also, lame Democrat tax rebates aren't
tax cuts. They're a worthless, one time only smoke screen.

Also, you contrdicted yourself. You just admitted that it was the
Republicans who added the tax cuts. They did the best they could in a
miniority. The only defectors: (which hurt the Republican efforts)
Stowe, Collins and Spector are left wing;" Republicans in name only"

Last post, you're unworthy.

It used to be that unemployment was not taxed. It used to be that
intrest paid for credit cards and car loans were tax deductable. That
stuff went out the window when Reagan and Gingriech were popular.
About the same time they had tax cuts not just for the wealthy (or so
we were told).

It ain't just the Republicans either. Both sides have tax cheats who
undermine the middle class by hiring second class citizens (nee
illegals). Our leaders should be tried for treason.

PP should be ashamed you have never collected unemployment benifits.
To collect benifits you must have worked at a job. No benifits are a
sign of no work. There should be no shame in collecting unemployement
while looking for a job.

While we're at it, the biggest unemployment cheat ever's illgotten
gains would pale in comparison with some of these financial thieves
and their booty. The tatics used to rule over the masses has always
been to divide and conquer.

Tax cuts? Start with repealing taxing unemployment benifits. Then
start giving a deduction for intrest on credit cards and car loans.
Stop taxing lottery winnings.

Sorry, it is only class warfare when the rich get inconvienced.

The American economy will recover because of Republican backed tax cuts and
the natural dynamics of the market. However, that has nothing to do with
Obama's gigantic welfare. entitlement and grow-the-federal-government
spending bill. Now when this social engineering boondoggle passes you watch
Obama try to call it "bi-partisan". That is a total misrepresentation. Not
one single Republican in Congress voted for his original bill. The
Democrats were finally forced to reluctantly cut $100 billion of pork from
the bill in the senate to get three (3) Republicans to vote for it so it
could pass.

Poor Mike, he can see the writing on the Wall. When this bill passes ,
and a bill will unfortunately pass, The Dem's will come out smelling of
roses.

The US economy will eventually recover and the Dem's will always be able
to take credit. And if the recovery takes longer than folks feel it should
, well then we will surly thank the Dem's for doing something cause " you
know it would've been worse " ...

good happens thank Republicans..

That's politics -- haven't you noticed? The Democrats do it the other
way around.

Then maybe it's time for the Democrats to start cutting taxes for once.
Don't suppose an immediate, flat-out cut in payroll taxes for everyone
would ever occur to them. That would get spending and the economy
going.

anything
good happens thank Republicans..

..................................................................

Right. The theory is: the economy improves due to tax cuts
(Republicans) and Fed policies, not big government socialist expansion
schemes (Obama/Democrats).

Effective tax rates of zero will drive this country into the dirt. Is
that your END game.?

Travel, there shouldn't be a Fed in the first place. They have manipulated
our economy at whim since their very beginning. We should never have been
taken off of the gold standard, and there never should have been a Fed.
Actually, the concept is Marxist, if you look at it in light of Marx's 5th
plank. We can blame MOST of our economic problems on the Fed.

No Fed! Abolish it!

Actually we know that PDS has no theory on economics because she doesn't
understand any of it and has stated that many times.

Every article I read convinces me one way or the other.

You know that and I know that, but Travel does not.

As an idiot, BobTard doesn't know that the reference had to do with
political rhetoric. On the subtantive aspects, Democrat big government
socialist spending won't be the reason for a rebounding economy.
