Subject: Division Playoff week picks

Ok, not so great last week, especially on the Sunday games, but here are my
picks this week.
First set will be spread bets, second set moneyline bets, 3rd set TOTALS
using higest number on SBR lines as of 11:35 am PST Thursday 1/08/09
(subject to change after official injury reports tomorrow)
TITANS - 3 vs RAVENS
CARDINALS +10 vs Carolina
EAGLES + 4 vs the GOLDEN BOY II
CHARGERS + 6 vs STEELERS
Moneyline:
TITANS - 139 ( I wouldn't bet this m/l for real money, however)
CARDINALS + 375 (how can you pass up almost 4:1?)
EAGLES + 185 (I think NYG will fold, PHI looked great against MIN)
CHARGERS +250 (how they can be a dog I understand, cold weather, etc, but
+250? book it)
BAL TEN OVER 34.5
ARI CAR UNDER 48.5
PHI NYG OVER 40 (unless temp below 20 or wind over 25 mph)
SD PT OVER 38 (unless temp below 10 and/or wind over 25 mph)

wrong, but like I said, wouldn't bet it but to keep it "real"

but this one makes up for 3 of the even money bets
so
+ 3 units

again I gain almost a full unit against my losses
5-3 up close to 4 units

Overall ,the cardinals on the moneyline saved my "virtual" bacon this
weekend. Had I stuck to exactly what I said (including the Ten loss that I
said I wouldn't really bet) then I would have been 7-4 and up 5 units
overall not too bad, but I've done much, much better.

I'm betting the house on the Cards money line. That's almost too good to
be true.
I also don't understand how the Eagles are only +4. They are going to get
their asses handed to them.

I understand you betting the farm...I don't know how ANYONE can be almost a
4:1 dog in the playoffs. I think it's a great bet, although +10 for -105
isn't too bad either. GL
