Last September I drove over the dam , and noticed parts of the bridge
looming overhead .
the pictures dont do it justice on how fucking high that SOB is . As you
cross the dam , and look down on the west side .. you have to look waaaay
up to see the bridge in the background . has to be over 1500-1600 foot
drop off that bridge .
Should be a new 'hot spot " for suicides as the bust-outs leave Vegas
I pity a trucker who has to cross it in high winds , or anyone near it
during an earthquake

It really is an impressive effort. The night shots of the construction,
with the bridge lighted-up, looks like something out of the sci-fi
movie: "Transformers".
